#WATCH | Kolkata, West Bengal: On death anniversary of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee, former Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy says, "...I am his biographer. He is the person relevant to West Bengal because he is the person who had created West Bengal. In 1947, when the Congress had accepted partition, conceded to Muslim League's demand for partition, Dr Mookerjee said that if you partition the country, you must partition Bengal also; the whole of Bengal will not go into Pakistan. He managed to do it, and that is why, he is relevant...I don't think the previous state govt even knew that he existed - mostly illiterate or semi-literate people. They were jealous of him..."
Raj Thackeray enters a real estate deal. A government-linked financial institution puts in Rs 225 crore. The institution then exits that deal at a loss of Rs 135 crore. Then and here is where your brain stops the same institution turns around and lends even more money to the exact same company it just lost money on. Total exposure rises to Rs 860 crore. Raj exits the transaction. Years later the company implodes. The institution collapses. Investors across India absorb the losses.
Story of RT and Kohinoor deal.

While there are genuine cases of racism against Hindus on rise, this is not in the same category. Making your home neutral, plain, without any symbols of anything or anyone is a normal marketing advice from realtors when you are selling. And this advice is given to EVERYONE. This is a nothing burger. Please consider deleting because when we focus on wrong cases, right cases don’t get our attention.
The Congress party could have chosen any other day for its rally at Palace Grounds. Instead, it chose the very day thousands of students are appearing for NEET.
As massive traffic disruptions choked Bengaluru, many students were delayed, some reaching exam centres in panic and having to plead with authorities to be allowed inside.
Thankfully, examination authorities accommodated them and provided compensatory time.
For weeks, Rahul Gandhi has been shedding crocodile tears over students and examinations.
Had his concern been genuine, his party would have avoided holding a mega political rally in the heart of the city at the exact time of one of India’s most important entrance exams.
Students deserve sensitivity, not political theatrics. Concern for students cannot be a slogan in Delhi and an inconvenience in Bengaluru.
NEET aspirants at Bengaluru got delayed; denied entry.
Congress event blocked the route. The traffic chaos led to many students stuck in a gridlock.
Will @abhijeet_dipke@Cockroachisback raise the voice against Rahul Gandhi and Karnataka govt for this
As long as he was touching food adulteration, it was tolerable. Now that he has touched Gutkha, transfer is back on agenda (recurring theme in this guy's career). Kabootar waale iss dhande mein badshah hai. Unke Aadharwad bhi hai ek.
There was a film in 2024 which faced huge legal battles from Muslim community , title change from Hum 2 hamare 12 to Hamare 12 , scenes cuts , a 5 lakh fine , delay in theatre release etc etc & no OTT release till date ! WHY ??
OTT’s can release a true crime story with twisted facts like #Raakh but chicken out to release a fictional story ?
Walker calls alcohol the most misunderstood sleep aid.
It helps you lose consciousness.
It does not give you natural sleep.
It fragments the night and blocks dream sleep, where emotional recovery happens.
Guys again posting how my CAR is being damaged with E20 or E20+
It’s Polo Highline 1.2 - 2016 model (EN228)
Pic 1 - Car Service Manual
Pic 2- Car Octane value
Hello @nitin_gadkari - we middle class can’t buy our CAR in every 3 years, kindly stop your ethanol nonsense!
Earlier, I used to be a fan of Gadkari saab but then I came to know about the reality of his son's company
He claimed 15 rupees ethanol petrol per litre 😭😂
@nitin_gadkari 20 metres width for a 4 lane National Highway seriously?
Minimum 25 metres is what the standard suggests !!
From whom all you got a handsome douceur?
Earlier my full tank used to cost ₹3300.
Now the same tank costs ₹3567.
That’s already ₹267 extra.
But the real damage is mileage.
Earlier:
16.5 kmpl average
Now:
11.5 kmpl average
If I drive 1,650 km a month:
Earlier fuel needed:
1,650 ÷ 16.5 = 100 litres
Now fuel needed:
1,650 ÷ 11.5 = 143 litres
Extra fuel consumption:
43 litres more every month.
At around ₹101.90/litre,
monthly extra expense = ₹4,382 more.
So effectively:
₹3300 tank became ₹3567
+
₹4382 extra monthly fuel burn because mileage crashed.
Middle class is paying more money to travel the same distance.
