The 7th Edition of Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament 2026 concluded on 03 Jul 26.
Air Marshal S Shrinivas, AOC-in-C, Training Command, graced the Closing Ceremony as the Chief Guest, while legendary hockey player Padma Bhushan, Padmashree PR Sreejesh was the Guest of Honour.

In a gripping final, the IAF team defeated the team of the Indian Navy to win the coveted trophy.

Agniveervayu Agyapal was awarded the Player of the Tournament award.

Lt Gen Devendra Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, GOC-in-C Army Training Command, #ARTRAC visited the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun on 03 Feb 2026.

The Army Commander appreciated Academy’s state-of-the-art training infrastructure and rigorous training standards that prepare Officer Cadets for the evolving challenges of modern warfare.

Interacting with the faculty and Officer Cadets, the Army Commander emphasised upholding the highest ideals of honour, professionalism and service as future military leaders. On the occasion, the Veteran Achiever Award was conferred upon Sub (Hony Capt) Raghubir Singh Bhandari (Retd), 15 Garh Rif, for his outstanding post-retirement service in resolving pension, reimbursement and ECHS-related grievances of over 300 Ex-Servicemen and widows - an inspiring example of service beyond the uniform.

On #ArmyDay2026, the Army Women’s Welfare Association was conferred with the prestigious “Chief of the Army Staff Appreciation”, in recognition of its stellar contribution to welfare, empowerment and outreach initiatives for Veer Naris, Widows, Children with Special Needs and the families of our brave serving soldiers and veterans.

Reflecting the collective spirit and inclusivity of the Association, the honour was received on behalf of all #AWWA volunteers by Smt Seema Viresh Singh, General Secretary AWWA, along with Smt Deepika Bisht (spouse of the Subedar Major of a unit) and a #VeerNari Smt Meena, from the #COAS.

This esteemed recognition is dedicated to every AWWA volunteer whose selfless service continues to uplift, empower and inspire Army families across the nation. It also acknowledges the sterling role played by AWWA volunteers in providing support, guidance, and safe spaces for families during #OPERATIONSINDOOR, when compassion and solidarity mattered the most.

As part of modernisation drive, the Thar Feeders of Chetak Corps has carried out extensive #Automation of supply chain & various processes.

The initiative has benefited more than 12 thousand troops & families of the area.

Automation has resulted not only in enhanced transparency & efficiency, but also has led to optimisation of time & manpower at each stage.

Same had a transformative effect by enhancing the end user satisfaction & also saving approximately 40 thousand manhours quarterly & thereby reducing the Carbon FootPrint.
