@timsoulo From an output perspective, same quality as 4.6, but if you have a fine-tuned workflow built on the previous version the constant token-torching self-confidence crisis mode in 4.7 + outrageous limits moves it down to third place in the foundational model standings.
@glenngabe@randfish Also, I did some sleuthing with my robot friends, who *claim* to have identified the WildChat-1M dataset as @dejanseo's source material. *If true,* it means the data is already 1.5 year old, and as we know, a lot has happened, both models and adoption-wise.
@glenngabe I would say the flip side, 1/3 of AI interactions having commercial intent, is the bigger story. If you look at some recent web search data (@randfish + datos) and strip out navigational search, you have a materially larger percentage of commercial intent in AI (6-7%).
Tonight we're going to watch the Minnesota Timberwolves tip off in their second consecutive Western Conference Finals appearance, which is absolutely wild for this tenured MN sports fan.
@hodsonated@lilyraynyc@iPullRank would it be possible to update the site so that the sidebar doesn't reset to the top of the list when a user clicks into a module waaaay down the list? (also, as someone who isn't a native API documentation consumer, your AI summaries are very helpful)
Remembering the White Bronco Chase, Marcia Clark's hair, and when @BridgetPhetasy and I did OJ trial updates on the Spartan Update, pre-social media stone age stuff.
@Marie_Haynes@lilyraynyc Yeah I'm one of those people. Your research and willingness to share are > any one platform so I guess...let me know if you find somewhere else you'd rather post and I'll be there? Thanks for all your work in 2023 and beyond.
I have never...
come across an article...
started reading...
and then got to the paywall CTA...
and said "Damn, this is so good, I want to subscribe so I can read the rest!"
Hot take: schema is a straight up trade: enhanced search results potential in exchange for your clean data, provided in a standardized format that is easier for Google et al to ingest, store and reuse. Any other talk about some future SEO benefit is wild conjecture.
Bill Hader on receiving feedback: "when people tell you something is wrong, they're usually right. when they tell you how to fix it, they're usually wrong."
Mini tip for anyone auditing a lot of sites: Right > Click on the address bar in Chrome and select 'Always Show Full URLs'
Always bugged me having to manually check if a site was using 'www' or not.
(I know there's a million ways to check this, but nice to see at a glance).
