@JoeRoganRecaps Eric Weinstein is very smart. And the kind of guy to use his intelligence to sound like a profound genius who’s an expert on everything, at least to us normal people. But then an actual expert comes along and you realize Weinstein is just full of shit.
@Mappy6984 Listening to his customers, offering good service, providing a result people are happy to pay for. Seems great to me. Why do people care so much about other people’s haircuts? Loser behavior.
@PatrickRuffini Foundations of Artemis started with Obama admin, Trump changed the name and focused the objective on moon, Biden funded it. It’s a victory for all three presidents.

I don’t think Dimon is making a statement on this admin. This is just consistent with what he said on the Acquired live show, which was his primary lesson from the 2008 financial crisis was that there is no memory or goodwill carried over between Presidential administrations. JPMC bought distressed firms in 08 to keep the system afloat in a crucial time despite the acquisitions being probably poor business, but he did it because he felt it was patriotic duty. Then Obama admin needed a pound of flesh to satisfy public contempt for BB’s role in the mess and JPMC took the brunt of it, despite being probably the best actor with Fortress. He doesn’t want to put firm at risk to punishment when the tides inevitably change.
It works only if the girl is in on the joke because it creates an instant topic of conversation. Disaster if she doesn’t. She’ll just be confused and either ignore you or ask what you mean and then move on. Better advice for young men: when an old dude tries to solve your dating challenges by offering you his best Regan era pickup line, safely ignore.
@PatrickRuffini Very weird take. You’re tilting at windmills. The amount of people who meet all the conditions you just listed is vanishingly small and irrelevant. What’s the point? Most college grads moving to a city are doing so for a job.
