@joenatoli Agreed. Debate is a skill that takes a long time to master. Positions that aren’t based in reality can be made to sound correct depending on the skill of the person debating. A scientist/researcher has “debated” their findings through the peer review process.
A shining example of the idea “one person can make the world a better place”. In doing so, he helps others become that person.
I’d be hard pressed to find someone who couldn’t benefit from what Andrew Huberman has to share.
@KritikaOberoi and I recently hosted a live portfolio review; team @Looppanel has graciously summarized the tips from that session into this excellent article: https://t.co/DECNtlFsGW
Check it out — and build a #UX portfolio that makes recruiters sit up and take notice.
@DougCollinsUX@Reddit I’m a huge Apollo fan and an ever bigger fan of @ChristianSelig . His understanding of UX made his Reddit app phenomenal. It’s a shame to see what Reddit is doing with their API pricing. Seeing Apollo grow was a masterclass in understanding your users.
@Rutgers_PSM Superb presentations! Loved the variety of business ideas from my peers. Their dedication and learning are truly remarkable. Kudos to the spring grads!
@DougCollinsUX Very nice! For the next one maybe you can one up the tipsy elves Jazz snowsuit. It’d be a hard choice between wearing that and the mando sweatshirt on the slopes. Do you mind me asking what tool(s) you used?

@joenatoli When Harrison asked Clapton to play lead guitar Clapton said, "Nobody ever plays on the Beatles' records"
"So what?" Harrison said.
This parallels the imposter syndrome we all face. When someone believes in us, we shouldn’t look for reasons they are wrong. Believe in yourself
Happening now at Busch Student Center … MBS 4+1 Open House … Dr. Misra, Dr. Bemis, Dr. H.C. and Executive Coaches Abbe Rosenthal and Alycia John are sharing with Rutgers undergraduates the uniqueness of the MBS degree - where science meets business!
@Rutgers_PSM Thank you for the invitation to speak at this event! A wonderful opportunity to help students explore their academic and career goals. If anyone has questions about the program I would be happy to answer them or put you in contact with the department.
@chesscom Game abandonment is a huge problem. I’ve waited upwards of 7 minutes because the opponent blundered and decided that they wanted to run the clock to zero by not moving. Nothing users can do but wait.
Abandonment is so common, I’d get my UX team on this immediately.
@Ryan_Layden AI is a tool. It won't replace our work - it will supplement it.
Aspects of the job like UX writing, ethnographic research, product strategy, and content strategy will stick around long after AI has taken over pushing pixels and generating interaction designs. Focus there.
@DougCollinsUX I was hoping this was how leaders view the future state of the field. In the workshops my team and I run, research and strategy are the two key areas for good reason. Thank you for your time Doug, always appreciate your insights.
