Five major Ontario school boards that have been under the direct supervision of the Ford government for a year or more have posted budget deficits despite the education minister blaming trustees for their financial turmoil.

When Poilievre was a cabinet minister in a majority government, defence was gutted to under 1% GDP. The lowest in CDN history. They also went to court to argue the govt had no moral obligation to care for veterans. They closed 9 veteran care centres. PP is doing Hegseth cosplay.
No charges. No public updates. No end in sight.
The RCMP's Greenbelt investigation has reached the 1,000-day mark, and remains "ongoing."
Opposition is accusing the Ford government of "learning nothing" & continuing "backroom deals" as probe drags on.

US Ambassador to Canada, whose country has threatened to annex Canada, hosts party with convicted grifter who attempted to overthrow the government of Canada and who was supported by funding from US. It's time to revoke the Ambassador's credentials.
Today, Doug Ford announced a pipeline route before finishing the feasibility study, before Indigenous consultations were complete, and before Manitoba is even on board.
A pipeline plan with no financial analysis, business case, or clear path forward is just a pipe dream.

Education critics are accusing the Ford government of “accounting tricks instead of real investments,” after we reported the majority of the promised 1% boost to core education funding isn’t new money.
About 74% of the increase is money shifted from existing education programs.
Forty-year-old Christopher G. Robertson was kayaking in Georgian Bay in Collingwood, Ontario, when the kayak took on water and capsized.
He held onto his overturned kayak and called for help. Jamey Ruth Klassen, 16, high school student from Guelph, Ontario, was on the beach and entered the water and swam about 600 feet to the kayak.
By then, Robertson had submerged. Seeing him on the bottom of the lake, Jamey dived 12 feet and pulled him to the surface.
Jamey positioned Robertson face up with his head on her shoulder. He was unconscious and not breathing.
Grasping him around the chest with one arm, she used the other arm and her legs to swim toward shore with Robertson.
Jamey was nearly exhausted and shouted for help. A man on a paddleboard responded, and he and Jamey placed Robertson on the board.
The man took Robertson to shore, where he was removed from the water. Jamey swam to shore. Robertson was revived and taken to a hospital, where he was treated. He recovered.
This Member of Parliament is a disgrace of a human being.
The dehumanizing language he uses to describe people is identical to the words Hitler chose to describe Jewish people, and people with disabilities and queer people.
He is literally using the same language. And the same tactics.
If the Conservatives had any sense of history or basic morals, they would forcefully condemn this dangerous man and eject him from their party.
Yep. He rents it to Michael Cooper who has a housing allowance paid by Canadian taxpayers. He pays his rent with that money and then Poilievre uses that money (taxpayers money) to pay his mortgage on the house. What a tidy convenient little taxpayer ripoff they came up with.
This is a study from Scotland
2.3% of babies born to COVID-vaccinated mothers had birth defects!
Guess what the rate in UNvaccinated mothers was?
Wait for it....wait for it....wait for it........

No housing. No healthcare. Ford thinks giving us cheap thrills is only way to stay in power. This weekend join a #FightFord protest near you and let’s force this failed Premier and national embarrassment to resign. #Onpoli 🇨🇦
Funny how the loudest “Canada is broken” voices keep coming from the provinces with the worst premiers running the show.
Here’s the part people skip: your daily life is run by your province, not Ottawa. Healthcare, schools, hospitals, highways, policing, housing approvals, electricity rates. All provincial jurisdiction. The premier you voted for controls almost everything that actually touches your day to day.
Alberta’s economy gets mismanaged by Smith, healthcare gets gutted, and somehow it’s Ottawa’s fault. Saskatchewan posts some of the worst outcomes on healthcare wait times and education funding in the country, then blames “the Laurentian elite.”
These are the same people who vote for cuts, then complain when the cuts hurt. Vote for underfunded hospitals, then post about ER wait times like it’s a national betrayal. Vote against federal transfers and equalization fixes, then act shocked when their own province can’t deliver services.
If your premier controls your hospital wait time, your kid’s classroom size, and your power bill, and all three are getting worse, that’s not a “Canada is broken” problem. That’s a “you elected this” problem.
The data is right there. Most of the “Canada is failing” energy isn’t coming from a place of national decline. It’s coming from provincial governance failures, dressed up as a federal crisis.
Ford and his Cabinet Ministers were caught speeding 23 times and fined $3,300.
So Ford banned speed cameras.
Now:
▶️ speeding is up 380%
▶️ 2 people have died in accidents where speed cameras used to be.

“Mean-spirited and abusive” is gentle criticism of Kristi Noem by U.S. Navy commander Phil Ehr - also on the Board of @NovaRedMining - there’s no place in Canada for a disgraced 51st stater like Noem. She needs to stay state-side.
