@RadicalLib We've been reading Daniel for the last 6 weeks in our Sunday morning bible study at my church and I just read Isaiah's prophecy of Cyrus this morning. I spoke about Josephus' (and Xenophon's) identification of Darius, but I didn't remember about Cyrus reading Isaiah, very cool!

Yes, there's likely no 'literal' trial. Scripture is teaching us through the symbol of a trial that if we were judged by our works we would all fall short, so we must hold fast to faith, trusting in the righteousness of Christ alone.

@jason_howerton Training is very expensive, but if AI progress ever hits a wall or is simply "good enough" for all their customers, training expenses will disappear. Inference on pre-trained models by comparison is very cheap.

@uMarhobane Hoarding money doesn't even have a negative effect. Taking money out of circulation is deflationary. If some trillionaire sold all his assets and buried the cash in the desert real wages and purchasing power would increase in direct proportion.

I’m pro-abortion as they come, except when a child will have to live with a congenital disability and you have to raise it. (No, I won’t be raising it, this is purely theoretical for me)
