@vonvonvilie I'm almost positive the reason they don't have a vow of celibacy is for the same reason there's technically no law against me drinking a gallon of pickle juice.

That or it's just not something anyone involved in their modern iteration accounted for. (I mean after Vandire. I'm sure Vandire had opinions.)

@NONOISE37748127 If he's crashing out this hard about the galvanic rifle wait until he sees the way every other gun works.
Especially once they start interacting with skill nodes.
@AustinJtodd it was essentially meant to limit actual active and reserve space marines into roughly a thousand. Even then, there were loopholes, and accounting isn't perfect. The high lords rarely scrutinize or audit a chapter unless there's something really egregious going on.
