@CLOUDWYYY@IndianGems_ that ideology only makes sense to you because you STILL think that in 2026 china has inferior products. They produce the cheap stuff for the western market cuz they can and we have no other choice but to consume it.. we have no substantial production capabilities left.
@CLOUDWYYY@IndianGems_ take byd for example as well, its half the price of a tesla but the maintenance cost and parts are as inexpensive as honda/toyota parts.. when the "premium" pricing is removed, cheap doesn't mean bad, that's just capitalist brainwashing.
@CLOUDWYYY@IndianGems_ the only reason it becomes a "waste" in the west is due to the lack of repair shops and available parts.. in china a consumer electronics for example can cost as cheap as half in the US but they can be repaired for a dollar.. It just works.
@CLOUDWYYY@IndianGems_ cheap materials means mass production, cheap parts, and being easily accessible.. there is no such thing as quality inexpensive nowadays. If this was made in high quality parts, it would just die as a prototype or reserve strictly only for rich cities.
