I am opposed to late sitting and holiday working.
And I have practised what I preach .
My last branch was in delhi 500 mt away from my bank head office and I used to ensure that all my co worker leaves branch by 5.15 and by 5.30 branch is locked from outside .
In 2019 One day my SRM was coming out of head office around 5.30pm and I was entering head office he said krishna jee aapke branch visit karna tha aaj maine kaha kal aayega because my branch is closed it is 5.30 .
He said he has time on his hand where he should go I said you can visit sector 12 that branch will be open till 6.30 .
Due to this timing discipline my branch was most in demand by employees for posting and this was one branch customer services was outstanding because all staff used to be happy and always enjoyed their duty .
One must not do late sitting and say big no to holiday working .
As a branch head never opened branch on a holiday not even for audit and half yearly and quaterly closing .

This morning while traveling from railway station new delhi around 8 AM i got a call from oney member that he is not feeling well and has requested for leave today but the same has been denied by his circle head .i told him you go on leave I will do needful .I called ZM of that zone and requested him to look into .he said you share employee details and he will ensure that he gets his leave sanctioned .there after once home I called circle head and first asked about his circle quarterly business and then asked why you have denied one day leave to a sick branch head .He said sir he was on leave even on 1 st oct and lot of pendency in his branch .i told ch for pendency you provide a staff to him and sanction his today' s leave .he said jee sir done.
In my Federation even a ordinary member can approach me anytime and get his grievances resolved .

The Central Government has implemented fixed office timings for its employees. On the other hand, there are no fixed office timings for bank staff. The CAG Letter states that:

#1) Normal office hours of attendance, on all working days are from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. with lunch break from 1.00 p m. to 1.30 p.m.

#2) It has been noticed that some members of staff continue to sit in office even after 7 p.m. This not only causes inconvenience to the caretaking staff of this office as well as that of the CPWD but also renders the security arrangement difficult. If in the interest of the office work, it becomes absolutely necessary for some members of the staff to sit after 7 p.m. in future, they would obtain the prior permission of the Deputy Accountant General concerned and communicate it to welfare cell for information.

#3) The office will remain open for regular work for five days in a week from Monday to Friday and all Saturday would be Holidays with effect from 3rd June, 1985.

#4) Except during budget pressure/ preparation of draft Audit Report and other important work, etc. no clerk/Typist/Auditor/Sr. Auditor should remain in officer later than 6.45 P.M. from March to October and later than 6.00 P.M. from November to March without the permission of his Sr. Audit Officer/ Audit Officer.

We have sent a formal letter to AIBOA GS to disaffilate with AIBOA and consequently we are out of ufbu now .
This I have written earlier also that if this time strike is withdrawn without having date of implementation of 5 days banking week we will be out of ufbu and we have delivered that .
Now we are out of ufbu for goods and will never be part of this umbrella which does not care for the sentiments of common bankers.
Now we are free and on our own .
