In the last 3 days of the 6-day training, the #CSOs dived deeper to familiarise themselves with the new system and customize it to the specific needs of their region. @WANEP_Regional shared its experience in #conflict early warning system with @SAPPCPEACE member CSOs.

& Development Office (FCDO) supported AU-WorldBank-UN Joint Programme (2023-2025) for Mainstreaming Human Rights into Early Warning.
The @AUC_PAPS, in collaboration with the Office of the UN HighCommissioner for #HumanRights & @UNITAR organized "Human Rights in Early Warning" – Course for CSO members of the Southern Africa Partnership for the Prevention of Conflict (SAPPC) from 26-28 Feb 2025 in Gaborone, 🇧🇼.
As strides are being made to include #women in #peace processes @SAPPCPEACE participated in the launch of the Network of Women Mediators in Southern Africa by @SADC_News
As part of the #SAMIDRC Mandate, the #SAMIDRC Force Maritime continues to cooperate with the Security Forces of DRC to ensure the security and Protection of Civilians in Lake Kivu, North Kivu, Goma.
#SAMIDRC Force Maritime collaborated with the DRC Army Navy (FARDC Navy) in the rescue operation after the boat accident in Lake Kivu. #SAMIDRC Navy’s participation in the operation saved several lives.
