Trump’s NIH leaders are lying to the public.

RFK Jr. promised a “dramatic reduction in animal testing” at NIH when he and Trump came to power.

But the NIH has approved over $50M in new funding for gruesome dog and cat tests since then under Deputy Nicole Kleinstreuer and Director Jay Bhattacharya.

$305K to cut cats’ spinal cords and force them to walk on treadmills was approved just two weeks ago.

$826K to breed beagles with degenerative eye disorders and inject experimental drugs into their eyes was approved last month.

Our investigations uncovering this taxpayer-funded animal abuse have united lawmakers across the political spectrum, from Republican @RepNancyMace to Democrat @repdinatitus.

Under Trump, other agencies including the EPA and Pentagon are shutting down animal labs we exposed.

But the NIH is the largest funder of animal testing in the federal government, and it’s still funding Dr. Fauci’s animal labs.

The NIH is openly defying Trump and Kennedy’s pledge to shut down these cruel and wasteful experiments.

The final two orcas in captivity in France could be destined to perish due to governmental inaction regarding their deserted marine park, activists have warned.

Wikie and her son Keijo are the last killer whalesresiding in France and have been left to swim in their desolate, decaying tank after Marineland Antibes permanently shut its doors in January this year.

Since then, the heartbroken orcas spend their endless days without any stimulation, longing for the connections they had with their now-deceased family members. They are the last two survivors of their original group of four.

Now that the park is closed to the public, their surroundings are deteriorating, with the water in their concrete tank becoming filthier each day and foul-smelling green algae spreading across the site. While a bare-bones staff come in to feed them and offer minimal human interaction, Wikie and Keijo have been largely forgotten by the crowds they once entertained.

The CDC just made history by ending all experiments on monkeys.

For the first time, a federal agency is choosing modern, human-relevant science over egregious animal experiments that endangers public health and fails to predict human outcomes.

This decision marks a turning point—and now the NIH and FDA must follow.

The Physicians Committee is urging both agencies to follow the CDC’s lead to phase out monkey experiments by adopting safer and more effective human-relevant approaches. Further, we urge the CDC to ensure that the approximately 200 macaques at CDC facilities are safely placed in accredited sanctuaries.
