My look at the Candidate Experience (CX). Why it is vital now to reset it from the arms-length and impersonal approach we see now.

Very likely going to close this account. Whether I move to Bluesky is uncertain yet. What is certain is I cannot be on a platform owned by a guy who gives or Nazi salutes and backs an oligarch who released violent criminals he encouraged to commit insurrection. It's far too much.
This kid looks the goods. But let's not talk about national selection just yet. Need to make sure he's physically and mentally prepared for that big step. We don't need to do to him what happened to Will Pucovski.
Sad news. A stylish left hander. Scored a very impressive ton in the cauldron that was the WACA in the mid 90's. An Ashes enemy fallen, we salute him with honour.
Of course I decide to go into the office today and @metrotrains has, once again, royally screwed up. My #Upfield train cancelled, because they've short-shunted(!) when all others before and likely after have and will run.
They laughingly call this a 'service'. 🤪
Once again @metrotrains has turned into a spectacular failure. Two #Upfiled trains in a row cancelled or short-stopped. Utterly ridiculous- call that a service??
@optus_help@Optus Jim, I would love to. But it will be the same story as it has been over and over again. There is no point at all interacting with you or your stores. I would've thought 25+ years of loyalty would've accounted for something. Nice to know I'm just a cash cow for you lot
My phone has pretty much died. Thinking 'right, @Optus will finally see that's the case and put a new phone on my current contract.' I marched in hoping there would be a sudden realisation.
Nope. I'll have to pay out my whole contact to put a new phone on it .
Yet Optus demand we pay out for even the simplest of additions. On a contract barely 4 figure worth Utterly without shame.
Optus care little for their customers. To them we are nothing.
This level of what Optus laughingly calls 'customer service' is so pathetic that there should be a law against it.
I negotiate 6-7 figure contracts regularly. We can amend them easily by agreement. We don't ask the other party to pay out if they want that amendment!
Fantastic game last night. Aussies are serious about winning the T20 World Cup and this was a great way to show off their never-say-die approach. Bodes well. #AUSvsNZ
@metrotrains Kicked out at North Melbourne. No explanation, no communications. This is utterly ridiculous. Of all the days I could not afford shoddy service, this is exactly what I'm in the middle of. Just useless.
First time in the city on a weekday for a very long time and once again @metrotrains have royally screwed up. "Operational Incident? What is that? The lack of communications and kicked out without explanation is utterly atrocious. Hang your heads in shame Metro
What a game! Woke to to an Aussie win and have sneakily watched the highlights. Beat India in India and stopped their winning streak. Amzing play by Travis Head who should've got Man of the Series. World Test Champions, retained the Ashes and now the #CWC23Final win. What a side!
@JmarrMarr @roseannebyrne Thank you for your view. It is, of course, completely devoid of reason but thank you anyway. The answer squibbed is do I deserve an income because I work for the devil (hyperbole)? You're not answering that so your point is moot. We are at an impasse. This will be my last reply
@JmarrMarr @roseannebyrne To be honest, I don't feel I need to justify my employment to anyone. My original point of not seeing the wood for the trees stands. Go attack the Big 4. That is fine, but asking those who ask you to consider your blanket attack to justify why they should be employed is silly.
@JmarrMarr @roseannebyrne I see. So does that mean every employee of a Big 4, who just does their job and makes no decision of any great consequence to anyone outside should front up and justify the company's actions? I'm perplexed why my right to exist should be filled with such demands.
@roseannebyrne So I should be unemployed because some people believe it to be morally better than letting the company I work for exist? That's quite a take. How far does it go? Should every company that has wronged you be closed? When should it stop?
