Unless someone is playing some sort of online character, there is no chance one can be mad all time on this here app and be a healthy person.
Online crazy usually equals offline brokenness/dysfunction. If that’s you, log off, sit down with some dudes, and confess. Heal up.
@WilliamWolfe Fair point on funding sources. But the CBL is also an organized, funded entity. And you have significant reach. Influence is influence. The "grassroots outsider" framing gets complicated pretty quickly.
@WilliamWolfe I think it's pretty clear. You have a platform too. When someone with your reach calls another outlet an "elite propaganda machine," that's worth noticing.
I just finished "The Lost Years of the Apostle Paul" by Kerry Jay Peacock, and I have to tell you... This one got me.
Kerry was my pastor when I was in high school, so picking up this book felt like sitting across the table from someone I've known for years. That same heart that I remember from those days is all over every page.
What Kerry does in this book is something special. He doesn't just write about Paul. He helps you see him. The struggling, surrendering, being-made-new Paul. The man behind the letters we've read our whole lives.
The section on Romans 7 moving into Romans 8 through the lens of Romans 12:1–2 is worth the read all by itself. It's the kind of insight that sticks with you long after you close the book.
If you love the Apostle Paul, or if you've ever struggled to live what you believe, this book is for you. Grab a copy. You won't regret it.
Being angry is easy. Being angry at a fellow believer? That’s a serious misstep. Jesus calls us to restraint...especially toward those who’ve also been spared God’s wrath.

@BaptistLeaders He blocked me after a dismissive "read the Bible."
My response: I have. That’s why I’m asking you to cite which biblical qualification for ministry you believe is violated here. “Grab a Bible” isn’t an argument. Scripture is.
@goawayray@BaptistLeaders “Disqualifying” is a theological claim, not a vibes-based one. Scripture doesn’t remove teachers for expressing lament, compassion, or moral concern in contested public events...especially while investigations are ongoing.
