@RM_Leeming Would be interesting to do some proper monitoring of pollution levels. I actually think that most councillors and activists think they are doing the right thing but actually they have caused so much more traffic congestion that there are adding to global warming. Poor planning.

A few ideas you could support that could help reduce the number of vehicles:
- segregated cycle lane
- extend duration of Hillsboro #SchoolStreet
- install #SchoolStreet on Greendale 1/2

They're putting pre-existing health and wealth inequalities on steroids.

Masks protect others, not yourself. For most people using public transport wearing a mask is a small act to reduce the risk of someone else’s loved one falling ill. Johnson’s recklessness is terrifying for anyone with low immunity or unable to be vaccinated for medical reasons

Ricci’s mum had a flat and when we visited years ago we walked past an estate, lots of flats, no private parking and a beautiful hospital, I remember very few big houses.

@one_lewisham Oh no, this is not good 😿surely they must know about Ella? Why are they doing this? I have had some interesting conversations with LTN supporters this week, I’m sure they will utterly condemn these tweets. Disagreement is good, but this is not right.

@mattRey79 @horrifiedofhh @jsc1000023 @DulwichCleanAir Yes why not as a start, anything to reduce car usage. I think car ownership is higher in these areas, but would also need an investment in excellent public transport links and cycle lanes. Also no more dropped curbs, encourages car ownership.
