Note for high school track and field parents: Clap and cheer all you want. But, for the love of Pete, stop screaming “RUNNNNNNN!!!! FASTER!!!” There is literally nothing you can say to make kids run faster in the middle of a race. They are going 100%. Just cheer and enjoy.
