@TeddingtonSoc Hi there. I am wondering if there will be a hustings for the local council elections? I note Richmond society are hosting one and was wondering if Teddington are doing anything similar. Thanks
@SecTVCL Shame. Would be nice to see the league looking to help our clubs in these unprecedented times.
Thanks for getting the games on but think you’re wide of the mark with this one
@SecTVCL can you justify why you are still fining clubs for late submission of forms this season? 1. Some Clubs are struggling due to loss of half season 2. All games are friendly.
In between all the hand sanitising, distancing etc etc surely you can forgive captains for this??
I have gone through all digital copies of BBC History Magazine and extracted articles relevant to our curriculum - they are short and accessible snippets of scholarship! If they are helpful, I have added to my Google Drive: https://t.co/vSXnJpLIiN
Recently we asked our schoolmates if they knew about the genocide in Srebrenica: Nobody did. So, our group has written a newspaper to raise awareness, honour the survivors & remember the victims as the 25th anniversary approaches. Please do have a look https://t.co/eFpa5k4tZi
Love this thread by Sam. His MWEW on the Bristol Bus Boycott has been one of our most widely used and effective. These new resources are fabulous and timely. Plus it is super to have a thread that helps us think about the curricular function each MWEW might serve 👊👊
Inspired by reading @DavidOlusoga ‘Black and British’ and the recent #curricularium talk by @hannahcusworth I have some made some ‘drop-in’ Meanwhile Elsewhere’s revolving around Black British History @mrwbw@kenradical Here’s a thread on how they could be used
These can be used as ‘slot-ins’ that can diversify a curriculum as noted by @mrwbw in his #curricularium talk. They are very timely too! Here is a link to all the resources - feel free to use (and add to?!)
