If the Gospel depends on us, it is not the Gospel.
Are you a universalist? Hell is real. Gods glory is unchanged by our response to Him.
@PastorSJCamp@JustinPetersMin It is everywhere in Scripture. The bridegroom returns for His bride - those who are not ready, are left out. Those who are ready, live in His glory forever.
The rich man turned away, and is never spoken of again.
@PastorSJCamp@JustinPetersMin Even the rocks cry out if the people don’t praise. The Gospel is not dependent on us-Christ alone. He has reconciled all of creation to himself, we have the great gift of partaking and turning toward him in whole life transformation. But HE is not diminished when we don’t respond
@PastorSJCamp@JustinPetersMin The Gospel is not what we do with it, it stands alone in Glory. It does not depend on our repentance or conversion to be full.
@drantbradley@206voter “These horrible church people won’t help”
Why don’t you?
“I can’t! That would be inappropriate!”
You are not different. If she has a man with her, should be no problem.
@JeffYoungerShow The narrative that distance will provide is not only belief that you are a danger, but someone who has abandoned…and any other negative trait they assume/are told.
@rightresponsem@JJordansShovel Understanding covenant theology would be a good place to start. Regeneration is generational, and you can’t biblically disagree with that.
We raise our children in Christ, and instead of choosing to follow Christ, they must choose to abandon the inheritance of their faith.
@Eric_Conn Yes show young men a strong leader who grabs women by the “Pu$$y” pays off prostitutes, doesn’t actually oppose abortion, and let them know they too, can live life’s of no accountability and be fully supported and encouraged by pastors.
