Population growth 2018-2025: 3.5%

51.8% of homestead properties in Broward will be fully exempt under the initial $250k exemption.

60% of homestead properties will be completely exempt from property taxes under the new Save Our Homes, yet the remaining local government revenue would be the equivalent of 2024 levels — which is still a massive increase over 2019 levels.

And yet Save Our Homes creates a state fund that will provide grants to local governments for public safety, education and other core services.
