college football is great because you get to stare into the abyss but then also climb into the abyss and wrap it around yourself like a warm blanket and pass it on to your children and then you die
Here's the tl;dr for everyone on the Koepka announcement:
1. He WILL get to play in PGA Tour events this year
2. He is FULLY ELIGIBLE to earn prize money
3. Because the field sizes are set, he has to play by himself
4. He is legally not allowed to smile
5. The "Shame!" woman from Game of Thrones will follow him during his rounds (with bell)
6. At the majors, the flag next to his name will be white like they do with Russian athletes at the Olympics
7. At the Players, he has to swim to the island green
8. For five years, Jim Nantz can slap him whenever he wants to, day or night
9. Any income Jena Sims earns from Instagram will be paid to Austin Eckroat
10. CBS and NBC announcers now have to refer to Jon Rahm as "Ron Jahm" until he takes the same deal
Curt Cignetti has a fascinating philosophy...don't waste anyone's time, coaches not expected to work nights just get work done, limited practice to keep players healthy
Everything and everyone matters when you’re pursuing greatness and trying to get the most out of players on a team. We are fortunate to have the coaching staff we have. The coaches put in 2-3x the work in preparation as players.
I appreciate Coach @OGWalt_ putting the effort into these moments to create more connection with the young guys. These moments are why these young guys go out and go all out for him. There’s lots that goes into running a team. You need all coaches and players moving in the right direction. All coaches have different styles and techniques to create connection. It’s cool that this is one of them. @OhioStateFB
"Give me my first love!"
Lee Corso's first-ever headgear pick belonged to Brutus and the Buckeyes and it's only fitting that his last one is the same ❤️
Holy cow would you look at this... THE National Champion Ohio State Buckeyes sent us a box!!!!
There are so many great players to name and so much history that I could've spent an hour opening this thing.
Thank you Coach Day and @OhioStateFB for everything, I love it!
