@mspizzini The biggest struggle I have had to face with technology in the classroom has been when technology does not cooperate, malfunctions and/or does not go to plan. It is a great day when my lesson goes completely as planned and I do not have issues with technology hinderances.#edt6020

Technology has allowed students to connect with other cultures across the globe. An assignment I include in my Health curriculum is have students research and identify how the family structure differs across cultures other than their own. #wuedt6020

@MrDownes214 @KFranklin923 @googledocs Google Docs is awesome. I use Google Docs instead of Microsoft word and I love the features it offers and how all of my work is saved to my Google Drive. It is definitely a platform I use every single day. #wuedt6020

@KFranklin923 An application I recently learned about and have been using ever since is Symbaloo, @Symbaloo which is a platform that can be utilized for a variety of reasons. I use Symbaloo in my Google Classroom to aid students in navigating to important links that we use in class. #wuedt6020

I have decided to focus my research on game-based learning this semester in our Emerging Trends in Education class. I am very excited to further my understanding of how game-based learning can improve my abilities as an educator. #wuedt6020
