yeah i think that would help, i also quite like how raycast shows more "system" product features in grey, its a bit hard to differentiate for example the extra "Store" based features from the more "native" features enabled, also i miss my clawd companion π₯²
Also some of the icons is a bit hard to read easily right now, as it blends to in with the coloring in settings
Examples of this is the About, live activities, clipboard, basket, camera especially, and. think most of the icons should have something done to them to make them stand out more
Yes i bought premium because i was tired of the word limit
I know its a bit contradictory when raycast have the about in a somewhat similar place, but the general grouping, the more easier grouping, and icons standing out more helps i think.
And i also think it helps to have a more clear "Check for updates" button, you could even put that in About section, not needing a separate updates section(just make it stand out more in the about page), even if you poll quite often for updates and whatnot, it feels nice checking for updates manually. I actually see in menubar that you have a check for updates there, but it might not be so clear, especially if some users disable showing droppy in menubar.
Also i think the vertical spacing between lock screen and the other 3 button section might* be a bit unnecessary (in settings), together with grouping the perhaps more greyed out "native" features
It feels like every other pixel in droppy is so thought out, that i know it might be a bit easy to not always give the same 100% love to settings, even though most of that also looks quite amazing
I would also for a feature add in "Pomodoro" add support for setting actual timer countdowns, reusing most of that same ui as well. Also i think renaming "Pomodoro" to something more understandable for most users would help (users like me), as its not quite clear for people not understanding the concept, and bringing in more timer based features as well.
Well this is just my rambling from a relatively new user, i dont expect anything to be implemented just because i say so, and you might have user feedback that contradicts my feedback, but i hope at least some of it is helpful
@mikeysee Yeah thats def a possibility, i feel like for certain age groups, you dont need a crazy good model, just good safety around the model, as to not hallucinate crazy thing to kids
@mikeysee Yeah 100% But i feel like the privacy and child protection laws are quite tricky to work around. Feel like it needs to be something governmental run, and prob still need parental allowance etc...
It would be absolutely huge for kids who has parents not helping with homework etc
@RhysSullivan When im searching for an app it takes 1 second minimum, and sometimes doesnt load in π (just went to my freshly updated phone to test (your) behaviour and well well well ...)
@mav3ri3k@arnestrickmann I feel like it depends on what screen ur working on. (and the actual size of code changed). Sometimes i prefer stacked when on a laptop for example
