🚨 BREAKING NEWS
The Republic of Somaliland is rapidly gaining visibility in the United States, with growing calls for official recognition emerging across media and political circles.
This comes after Hassan Aden appeared on Rob Schmitt Tonight on Newsmax during prime-time on April 6, bringing Somaliland’s case directly to a large American audience.
During the segment, Aden highlighted Somaliland’s stability, its 1991 restoration of independence, and its contrast with instability in Somalia… messaging that is increasingly resonating with U.S. viewers.
The interview is part of a broader trend: Somaliland is becoming a growing topic in American political discourse, with some commentators and voices now urging Washington to reconsider its long-standing position and move toward recognition.
The push reflects a widening effort by Somaliland officials to expand diplomatic influence in the U.S., as momentum appears to build beyond traditional policy circles and into mainstream media.
The Somaliland-UAE Business Leadership Roundtable, organized by the S/land Representative Office in the UAE, brought together key stakeholders to discuss trade and reflect the growing investor confidence that positions S/land as a stable and investment-ready gateway to the HoA.
BREAKING: Somaliland has offered the U.S. exclusive access to its minerals and the chance to build American military bases.
Somaliland sits next to one of the world’s most critical trade chokepoints, where around 10%-12% of global trade and major oil shipments pass.
