I witnessed something like this just within the last three days. Ogbeni changed the locks to his matrimonial home. He locked his wife outside. Imagine coming back home tired, only to find that every access has been changed—a house you yourself locked that very morning.

We need to gradually build a closed economic system where cash transactions are heavily discouraged — or even eliminated — and every transaction is processed electronically through credit-based systems.

Under such a system, access to a credit card should depend on an individual’s financial discipline and creditworthiness. Anyone with outstanding unpaid loans across financial institutions may be restricted from obtaining further credit facilities until existing obligations are cleared.

In essence:

Your income and financial capacity would determine your credit limit.
Your credit history would determine your access level within the ecosystem.
And individuals without a verifiable banking or financial record may find it difficult to fully participate in the economy.

The goal is to strengthen financial accountability, improve credit culture, reduce cash-related crimes, and deepen the formal economy.
