Want to make money selling on Amazon, Walmart or eBay? π°
Most new sellers get stuck on the same things:
β Brands won't approve them
β Distributors ignore their emails
β Restricted categories block their listings
We have a proven process to fix that:
β Brand & distributor approvals
β Ungating in restricted categories
β A simple FBM system to start selling and profiting
Whether you're brand new or already selling, I'll walk you through it step by step.
DM me "START" and I'll show you how it works π
How to find who distributes a brand you want to sell:
1. Email the brand and ask for their authorized distributors
2. Check the brand's "where to buy" or dealer page
3. Look at trade show exhibitor lists in that category
4. Ask your current distributors who carries it
Go to the source the brand names. That's the invoice Amazon trusts.
Walmart sellers: listing suddenly unpublished? Check your price first.
Walmart can unpublish items priced well above what the same product sells for elsewhere.
1. Look at the unpublished reason in Seller Center
2. Compare your price to other major sites
3. Adjust or appeal, then watch it republish

A distributor saying no usually means not yet.
What to do after a rejection:
1. Ask what they need to see (sales history, storefront, order size)
2. Build that for 60 to 90 days
3. Reapply with numbers, not promises
Sellers, ever been turned down by a distributor? What did you do next?
Walmart sellers: item setup errors often come down to the barcode.
Walmart checks GTINs against GS1 data. Cheap resold UPCs that don't match your brand or product can get your items flagged or blocked.
Private label? Buy barcodes from GS1.
Reselling? Use the manufacturer's UPC, never your own.

@ryanmcraver That 3x jump is exactly why I run slower Q4 SKUs FBM. Keep the fast movers in FBA, ship the long tail yourself, and you skip $2.40 per cubic foot on inventory that might sit until January.
@SellerAmp Good list. One thing I'd add for beginners: check if the brand or category is gated before you buy a single unit. A great Q4 niche means nothing if you can't list it. Search the ASIN under Add a Product in Seller Central first.
@7FigSaykho FBA is a solid path, but the part nobody talks about in year one is ungating. The best wholesale brands are gated, and approval comes down to clean invoices from an authorized distributor. Get that right early and you're not fighting 40 sellers on open ASINs.
@Molson_Hart This is the play more brands should copy. Amazon fees keep climbing, so selling direct a few bucks cheaper still nets more per unit. Amazon sellers, watch for it too: when the brand undercuts you on its own site, your Buy Box can get squeezed.
Black Friday is Nov 27 and Cyber Monday is Nov 30.
Sellers, what's your ad plan?
A) Raising budgets a few days early
B) Raising budgets day-of
C) Keeping budgets flat
D) No ads, organic only

Bundle sellers, mark Jan 11, 2027.
Amazon will require most single-ASIN bundles to be packaged by the manufacturer or brand. Noncompliant ones get deactivated and hit Account Health.
Still allowed: repackaged items with a letter of authorization from the brand, plus Virtual Bundles.
One more reason to build real brand relationships.

Walmart sellers: don't list a brand until your paperwork can prove you're allowed to sell it.
- Invoices from an authorized distributor, not a retail store
- Your business name and address matching Seller Center
- A brand authorization letter when you can get one
Same discipline that gets you ungated on Amazon keeps your Walmart account clean.

@MyAmazonGuy Agree. I run mostly FBM, and it wins on heavy, slow, or gated items where FBA fees and storage eat the margin. Cheap fast movers usually belong in FBA. Run the numbers per ASIN, not per account.
@jake_rm_ Useful breakdown. Ad growth slowing to 11% won't mean cheaper clicks in Q4. Peak still gets crowded. Sellers with ungated brands and fewer competitors per listing will feel it least.
@Enuffles 6k profit two months running is solid. On the IP complaint: buying from authorized distributors and keeping invoices that match the brand name and quantity is what saves you. Did you get it retracted or appeal with invoices?
@thetoyinvestor +$6.40 per sale is the number that matters. Most sellers chase volume going into Q4 and give it back in fees and returns. Curious: did the margin come from better buy costs or fewer sellers on your listings?
@Molson_Hart Ops first is right, and it starts before you list. On Amazon the real moat is supply: brand approvals and direct distributor accounts. Anyone can copy a listing. Nobody can copy a clean invoice chain from an authorized source.
Amazon's new insurance rule starts tomorrow, Nov 2.
Sell kids' products, cosmetics, ingestibles or lithium batteries? You now need $1M commercial liability coverage on those products at any sales level, not just after $10K a month.
No certificate uploaded, listings can get deactivated.

Every major carrier added peak surcharges this season, and diesel hit a record $5.85 a gallon.
FBM sellers, what are you doing about it?
A) Raising prices
B) Eating the cost
C) Switching carriers
D) Pushing more to FBA
Want a brand to approve you directly? Keep the first email short.
1. Who you are and where you sell
2. One line on why you're a fit (clean account, MAP respected, no price tanking)
3. A clear ask: authorized reseller or a referral to their distributor
No essays. Brands answer short, professional emails.

Walmart just opened https://t.co/atLrjvydHW to outside AI shopping agents.
That means software, not just shoppers, will be reading your listings.
Walmart sellers, tighten them now:
- Fill every attribute, not just the required ones
- Exact size, count and specs
- Clean titles with no keyword stuffing
Thin listings get skipped.
