I join @POTUS in congratulating our armed forces and law enforcement that now has the narco-terrorist Maduro facing justice for his crimes.

The next step is a policy that pulls countries in our hemisphere towards the U.S. and away from China, Russia, and Iran. My Americas Act does just that.

Had a great visit with Solo Brands in Grapevine! I toured their office and distribution center, I was able to see their impressive range of products, and got to meet many of the hardworking employees.

This is a critical time for #Haiti, and it's significant that their new ambassador, Lionel Delatour, presented his credentials to President Trump. Ambassador Delatour will do a phenomenal job representing Haiti's interests in the U.S. and in pursuing a strong relationship

[Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick 🇺🇸 @RepBrianFitz]

America’s retail and distribution industries are facing a serious and accelerating threat: an overwhelming surge of direct-to-consumer shipments entering the U.S. each day under outdated policies that allow foreign sellers to bypass trade laws, avoid safety standards, and pay nothing in duties. This loophole is costing American jobs, undercutting U.S. businesses, and eroding the integrity of our supply chains.

This week, I met with James Marcum, CEO of @davidsbridal, and Richard Westenberger, CEO of @Carters—two leaders on the front lines of this crisis. We had a productive, solution-driven conversation about the urgent need to reform this broken system and protect American businesses from being squeezed out of their own market.

As a member of the @WaysandMeansGOP, I’m working to close trade loopholes and ensure all importers follow U.S. laws, meet safety standards, and contribute their fair share. I appreciate the insights shared by James and Richard, which will help shape my ongoing efforts to support American businesses, protect jobs, and strengthen our supply chains.

Congress provided a 5-yr reauthorization for #Haiti HOPE/HELP program within legislative text just released for the must-pass, short-term government funding bill, but sadly further deferred action on lingering #trade items like #GSP , #MTB and critically needed #deminimis reform.

[Fernando Anibal Capellan Peralta @fcapellan1]

.@SenBillCassidy is right. It's time for the U.S. to renew our partnerships with nations across the Western Hemisphere.
