I am glad to announce 📣 the publication of our Gulf ACTION registry (Early View).
Congratulations 👏👌👍🎈🎉🎊 to all investigators. Years of hard work paid off at the end. Results have MAJOR IMPLICATIONS for our health care systems.
Gulf ACTION is the first prospective, multi-country, multicentre cohort registry of outpatients with long-term assessment of LDL-C levels in the Arabian Gulf countries to assess the current management of dyslipidaemia with LLT.
We also investigated the roles of lifestyle factors and socio-economic determinants in achieving LDL-C targets and adhering to LLT. Physicians’ perceptions of their patients' cardiovascular risk, LDL-C target levels, and use of different dyslipidaemia guidelines were also assessed in this study.
