People perish for lack of knowledge. Five years ago I developed a relationship with @AIPAC and through their advocacy I’ve been deeply enriched. The American - Israel relationship is vital...now more than ever. I support democracy in the Middle East. Thus, I support @AIPAC
Thank you to Rob and Bernie for having me on to discuss the #LPSB Checkbook and how we will be the most fiscally transparent government body in the state! #lalege#lagov https://t.co/5zXLmaAO2Y

Taxpayers deserve easy access and full transparency on every public dollar spent in Louisiana. This can - and should - be done now. Join the movement and learn more at: https://t.co/ZAWrtFUt0m #lalege#lapol#lagov
“@RickWardLA described adding the $30 million upgrade costs to the cost of his bill as “unfair.” He projects that his bill would cost $350k for the first 3 years, and then between $220k and $230k a year, to add data from universities and other branches of government.” #lalege https://t.co/dwQdh5zlzB
Division of Admin staff note they can add automatically generated spending reports to La Checkbook from #lalege, courts, higher ed at low cost - which they don’t have access to unless the bill passes. High cost projections depend on creating new ERPs but can start without that.
“As of Monday evening, just two bills had been prefiled ahead of the session's start — an extension of the expiring sales tax and a measure to create a government transparency site that lawmakers have spent months touting.” Cc: @LACheckbook https://t.co/HxcBjUCib0
UPDATE: Col @RobManess ret recently met with the @STPGOV President and we’re pleased to report they are upgrading financial reporting systems. A Transparency Portal like checkbook will be included!!
