Historic 1927 built on the Clyde, Twin screw, coal fired, Double Expansion Engine, Steam Tug. We are fully operational we are docked in West India Dock.
It has been 3 years since Portwey was able to attend any public functions. We have now been able to get a crew together to make the short trip to St Katherine's Dock so we can take part in the Classic Boat Festival this coming weekend!
We will be supporting the #docklandsscoutproject’s Open Day this Saturday. We will be open for visitors (10:30 - 15:00) but as we are changing the engines’s oil we won’t be pumping. Visitors can still get to the engine room!
