Look at this photo we found from Donald Trump Jr.’s lavish Bahamas wedding.
Can you spot the Russian oligarch close to Putin who bankrolled the event? 🧵
@McFaul I’m wondering the same. Could it be that everyone is thinking it will just be corrected in the future following midterms or 2028? The capitulation equates acceptance. A dangerous precedent to set.
$100,000 a month.
That's what Trump’s company is charging Wall Street insiders for early access to his market-moving announcements.
It’s corruption—and the rich get richer while everyone else falls further behind.

Fox host: I think it is alarming that we have not been able to see or hear from any of the Iranian people. Do they have drinking water, food?
Trump: Do you remember when we had lunch years ago at Trump Tower? You have not changed. You may be even better looking.
@Acyn Trump won with support from the Latino community. No mention of the steady drip of media bias and misinformation that’s tearing the electorate apart. The outsize influence that money plays in elections now. A lot has changed.
A new rule proposed by Trump's admin would strip scientists and unbiased peer-reviewers from controlling $1.1T in federal grants.
Grant funding would instead be controlled by Trump's political appointees.
BOOM! THE JIG IS UP
A fed-up Trump supporter at a Missouri town hall asked Mark Alford: "How obviously racist do we have to be? Is there any line in the sand? One step too far?"
Alford: "I'd stand up to Trump to protect the Constitution."
The room sighed. "Yeah right, dude. You already let it happen."
Republican leaders lie to your face with zero shame, zero morality, zero consequences.
These people are fed up.
2026 and 2028? They're done being played.
#BREAKING: Psaki: “Multiple outlets are reporting tonight that Donald Trump has essentially wiped out what is left of the US Election Assistance Commission that is a bipartisan commission that helps states and local officials run elections. They certify election equipment, they distribute federal election funds, they maintain the national mail voter registration form, they basically do a whole bunch of things that help elections across the country run smoothly. But as we have seen through his actions over and over and over again, Donald Trump does not want elections in this country to run smoothly, quite the opposite.”🤦♀️
JD Vance: "I think Nixon's historical legacy is enjoying a bit of a renaissance, and deservedly so. I joked that if Watergate happened tomorrow, it would be like a 12 hours news story. The idea that it took down a presidency is crazy."
“Michelle Obama is a man” shouted on the White House lawn in a ring sponsored by Bud Light only available on Larry Ellison’s Paramount Plus. What a way to celebrate America 250 and the twilight of liberal democracy.
New statement from Scott Pelley:
There has never been anything in America like 60 Minutes.
The Sunday tradition is the most successful program of any kind in history. For more than a decade, its innovative growth on every major online platform has extended its reach to countless millions around the world. This spring, at the end of our 58thseason, 60 Minutes grew rapidly with an unheard-of 9% jump in viewers on CBS.
“60” has been the number-one program in America for decades because our beloved audience finds integrity, quality, and humanity in our stories. When stewardship of the program passed to my colleagues and me, our responsibility was to expand energetically into a new age of media technology while preserving the values our audience expects. Now, the new owner of our network is casting this legend aside, apparently to curry a moment of favor with the Trump administration.
The waste is heartbreaking.
Last month, 60 Minutes lost its DNA when our entire senior leadership and two of our best on-air correspondents were cruelly fired without cause. Good people were silenced because they stood up for our audience. They stood for fairness against the forces of political bias; they stood for professionalism against chaos.
For my part, new management has instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story. I’ve been told to include assertions that are unverified. To date, in every case, I have managed to ignore these instructions or refuse them. Recently, politicians have been invited to choose correspondents for interviews on the broadcast. Giving politicians control over 60 Minutes interviews is not how this is done. Finally, incompetence and unprofessionalism in the new management have wreaked havoc. In a case involving one of my stories, the entire program came within 19 minutes of not getting on the air at all.
At 60 Minutes, we have fought harder than anyone knows to save the program that became an American icon. We owed that to our millions of viewers. I am deeply moved by the thousands of wishes we have received to “keep up the good fight.” Most of the men and women of CBS News are still in that fight. But now the collapse of values at the top has become untenable. The leadership of 60 Minutes is no longer recognizable. The principles I hold dear are gone, and so I must leave as well.
I depart after 37 years at CBS with one emotion—a heart brimming with gratitude for the men and women of CBS News who encouraged and enriched my work, very often at the risk of their own lives. I pray for a day when those people and their ideals are honored again—a day when sanity, competence, and courage return.
