This new Deante’ Hitchcock album is fantastic. You might know him for his work with JID or Revenge of the Dreamers 3, but he’s somebody who always had a ton of talent and never really got the recognition he deserved.
Well, hopefully that changes with this project because ‘Junkie in the Sun’ is one of the best albums of the year. Against the vibrant production are more serious stories of su1cidal thoughts, self doubt, fatherhood, & more. The album is extremely cohesive despite touching on a wide array of topics, and it makes sense that most of the production was handled by Brandon Phillips-Taylor (I love when a rapper & a producer lock in!).
It’s a very warm album and a very human album. Deante’ captures the human experience very well where one day you’re riding high and the next you’re at the lowest of the low. The guest features are great, there are only a few and you can tell they were carefully chosen: Samara Cyn, 6lack, Childish Major, J.Wes, & Anna Field.
‘Junkie in the Sun’ just feels so intentional and the effort & love that went into it radiate on every track. It feels like a resurgence for Deante’ and I hope he starts to get those flowers he so very much deserves.

Idk but signing a FA left handed QB for a vet minimum sounds like the commitment is to Michael Penix Jr compared to what other media folks might say Atlanta is doing lol.
I want white people like @KidRock to put together a definitive list of Black People who aren't "DEI hires".
If Jay-Z is a "DEI hire", no black human being is qualified to do anything but be a slave. At this point I feel like "DEI" just means "Diet N*gger" and I'd prefer yall to stand on that.
Jay-Z has credentials which list him as being arguably the greatest rapper of all time, has sold 140 million records, he holds the record for the most number-one albums (14) by a solo artist on the Billboard 200, is the first rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, is first living rapper inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has 25 Grammy's and has had successful record labels where he has signed multiplatinum talent such as Rihanna & Kanye West.
If he's not qualified to pick the Super Bowl halftime show, who the fuck is?????
They disrespect everyone. This isn’t a real place. There’s a few real people still. But a guy bought this place and made it where you can get paid for saying idiotic shit. There’s no way to tell if people are saying what they really feel. A bunch of fake pages. Making fake news. Making fake videos and pictures. And the only way you can tell is if you use the robot that he made too.
At least there’s no questions about it anymore. He finally made it plain and simple for everyone. So, please stop saying it’s not what or who he is. If you support him, you support that! No excuses!
I don’t like when people speak about Outkast and they act like Big Boi was some sort of second fiddle to Andre 3000. Big Boi and 3 stacks were/are equally yolked let’s be fuckin serious.
Media and people on here love their narratives. James Pearce Jr. was an unquestioned top 15 pick talent wise. The Falcons simply got 2 top 15 picks in the first round of 2025. So honestly, they’re missing out on NOTHING in the first round of 2026

Your two 1st rounders have a total of 9 sacks (Walker - 5; Pearce 4) so far. Two impact players that are coming into their own. That 2026 first rounder means nothing to me.
As good as the Falcons defense has been this year, they have consistently failed to get the game-ending/saving/clinching stop. It’s time to stop absolving that group.
