Please read in its entirety. The Interim Vice Chancellor and Provost John Liu disseminated a university-wide email yesterday that maintained the administration’s apparent policy to spread life-threatening misinformation about the student activism in Crouse-Hinds Hall.
The institutionalized racism we face plagues schools all over our country. On December 10th, a student at the Beacon School in New York City yelled down its halls uninformed and belittling statements aimed at minority students.
In solidarity with the #NotAgainSU movement, SRS will be postponing this talk/discussion event. We encourage those who planned to attend to instead sit-in with the students and supporters at the Barnes Center.

An anti-choice group, 40 Days for Life, has been holding a near-continuous vigil outside the Syracuse Planned Parenthood over the last month, hoping to make patients and workers of the clinic feel intimidated and unsafe. This cannot continue.
