There is an aura today of those late Roman Emperors whose initiatives to save the empire provoked faster decliine. Example? Attacking all of your closest allies. Not bright.

I am thrilled to join @LeighChappy at @AdvantAgeOntario’s #ASC2024 Nursing Connection Breakfast on April 19. This is a great opportunity for nurses to share info & the latest developments in seniors’ care nursing. https://t.co/Xhydr4IkES. See you there! @LisaLevin1
On behalf of colleagues @UofTNursing congratulations to Order of Canada appointee @salthorne CM for her extensive contributions to the practice and discipline of nursing, as a researcher, academic and leader.
We wish to send a message of gratitude and support today to our members and all those on the frontline who responded to the level 2 code orange yesterday. Our hearts go out to all those impacted, those who are hurting, those who woke up without someone they love this morning. 💔

This morning, I had a paper rejected because it was qualitative. This is not just a suspicion -- it was written in an email. As a person who has conducted primarily qualitative research, the blatant rejection of qualitative methodology -- even in 2022 -- is disheartening.
1 / 2 Meet Dr. Karima Velji, who recently joined the OPS as the Chief of Nursing and Professional Practice and Assistant Deputy Minister at @ONThealth. She has extensive experience as a nurse and health care leader in many sectors.
Increasing the # of NPLCs will bring thousands of unattached patients from across #Ontario back into the fold. #NPLCs improve patient access to primary care & enable greater health system efficiency, quality, & function, with the added benefit of reducing overall healthcare costs
Nurses as Health Activists: a new study led by @ldonell recruits RNs, RPNs, and baccalaureate nursing students to share their experiences. Are you involved in health activism through your nursing practice? @RNAO @collegeofnurses @canadanurses@LHSCCanada@stjosephslondon
Are you involved in NURSING, TEACHER, or MEDICAL education? Consider participating in a study on facilitating sensitive conversations about bias and equity in different professions. Please consider participating and help spread the word!
