Instagram has ruined weddings and parties in general. People used to plan parties and weddings and birthdays for the sake of their own enjoyment. Now they do it to show off online. Every detail has been taken over by whether or not it’s “instagrammable”
You can feel the fakeness of these parties. The backdrops, the themes, the photo op details. What’s worse, the guests also get caught up in making sure to get the best pictures and reels rather than actually enjoying the aspects of the party itself. It all becomes a production, a show.
You can definitely design and decorate beautiful parties. But I wonder what would happen if people no longer felt the pressure to make them instagram worthy, and could just enjoy them.
Dear God what is happening to Toronto? Absolutely Horrifying. Be it on Public transit. On sidewalks. In our cars. This is Gotham city. New York City. This isn’t our city. This has to stop. Something is very very broken. People are very very broken.
my cat has no responsibilities, but all day he walks around the house from room to room with this utter sense of purpose, as if he has an endless to-do list of tasks no one asked for. just this weird small furry dude going about his little cat errands.
Can we please normalize being quiet in the morning. Some of you are just like too loud, excited & happy to start your day. Sometimes we just need some peaceful time and we don’t like noisy people in the morning. Thanks.
