Place PTA balloon or fogarty balloon over the wire and inflate inside the catheter. This will stop bleeding and prevent air embolism. Then cut down over the cuff and pull out remaining catheter and balloon.

@simonjsmiths @doc_kidney Consider using Aliskiren ( direct renin inhibitor ) and titrate up the dose to max tolerated. I have used this in a 20 yr old with resistant hypertension with very high renin levels.
