Donald Trump exhibits the classic traits of psychopaths -- superficial charm, grandiosity and self-importance, a need for constant stimulation, a penchant for lying, deception and manipulation and incapacity for remorse or guilt.
But is he evil?
If, as the philosopher Susan Nieman writes, evil is not simply the opposite of good but inimical to it, if the aim of evil is to destroy all moral distinctions, then Trump qualifies as evil. Morality, for Trump, is for losers. All life is transactional. Self-interest and self-enrichment usurp all other considerations. No one else matters.
In her new book, “Call It Evil: Understanding the Trump Era,” Neiman argues that evil “isn’t cruelty but something much worse: the ideas that allow cruelty to become ordinary.”
She continues:
There’s a difference between calling one action evil and calling another a crime. Crimes are things for which we have procedures—at least for punishing, if not for preventing. This means that a crime can be fit in some way into the rest of our experience. To call an action evil is to suggest it cannot—and that it thereby threatens the trust in the world that we need to navigate it. There’s no signpost on the border between evil and awful. Evil is what you say when your jaw begins to drop if you sense that a line has been crossed.
Trump crosses line after line. He declares wars on a whim. He enriches himself and his family in crypto schemes, from which he has made over a billion dollars. He orders assassinations and the kidnapping of heads of state. He uses billions of taxpayer dollars to sustain genocide in Palestine and since January 2025 has provided over $20 billion in new arms sales to Israel. He guts government departments designed to lift up the vulnerable and bloats the war budget. He builds rogue paramilitary forces to terrorize citizens and immigrants. He attacks and attempts to censor the news industry.
In short, he does what all who commit evil do.
He fosters a world where nothing is sacred and where democracy and civic virtues do not exist.

Bono compare Itamar Ben-Gvir à Heinrich Himmler.
3,600 tons of explosives were dropped onto Dresden...
The Israelis dropped 223,000 tons onto Gaza and the bombings continue on tent encampments today.
This hog thinks he's making a good argument.
More than 100 Israeli settlers raided the village of Jalud on Monday night, torching homes and vehicles.
Settlers threw rocks at the Toubasi family as they were escorted by Israeli soldiers back to their home, from which they had been expelled by settler attacks for two months.
🇮🇱🇵🇸 Israel doesn’t give a sh*t about who it kills in Palestine as it keeps murdering civilians caught in the crossfire.
This time it was a woman in Nuseirat and a married couple in Gaza City.
It happened after Israel launched 2 separate attacks today in the enclave.
It claimed one of the hits was aiming for a militant at the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Israeli officials have remained mum on the Gaza City attack.
The total number of wounded is still unknown, but there are many.
A reported ~74,000 in Gaza have died since the Israeli assault started after Hamas militants swarmed a music festival in southern Israel.
But Bibi will deny a genocide is happening there until his dying breath.

"In recent days, the Israeli army killed 20 medical staff.
Americans, your taxes are being used to kill unarmed men, women, and children."
Imagine working from dawn to dusk only to have your taxes end up killing children in the Middle East...

Show this to anybody who still denies the genocide.
These were all people's homes. Completely and totally destroyed.
These images should haunt those who enabled Israel's crimes against humanity - and we will never give up until there is justice for the Palestinian people.
In loving memory of the children in this video, cold-bloodedly murdered by Israel.
They are among the approximately 22000 children Israel has slaughtered in about two year.
🇮🇱🇵🇸 Israel has censored the map showing it's wiping Gaza off the face of the earth
High-res imagery showing the devastation wrought upon the strip appeared on its GovMap website, then it was pulled
If Israel is justified in ethnically cleansing Gaza so that it can be settled by them, why is it scared of its people seeing it?
The most obvious answer is that nothing justifies this level of persecution and destruction
Can you imagine the outrage if Russia wiped out the majority of Ukraine and forced its people to live in tents?
What if Putin then called for other nations to take in Ukrainians so that Russia could rebuild the country and settle it themselves?
There would be even more sanctions, stronger calls for him to be arrested as a war criminal, and it would be widely accepted as genocide.
But Israel can decimate Gaza, indiscriminately kill women and children, openly call for seizing the territory and settling it, and we're all meant to be fine with that because of Oct 7?
That massacre was unjustifiable
Israel's genocide in Gaza is also unjustifiable

UK police arrested Margaret Owen, a 94-year-old Jewish human rights barrister, in Liverpool on Sunday for holding up a sign expressing support for Palestine Action.
The British government proscribed the organisation as a terrorist group in 2025 under the UK's Terrorism Act 2000

Israeli historians Benny Morris and B.Z. Kedar documented via IDF archives that Haganah/IDF ran Operation Cast Thy Bread in 1948, adding typhoid bacteria to wells in Arab villages and Acre’s supply to deter returns and hinder armies. It began in April (pre-state) and continued after May 14. Effects were limited; some illness occurred in Acre. Israel denied it at the time.
