Congratulations to @PardisSabeti on being named a 2026 @ROLEX Awards Laureate, recognizing her work to prevent epidemics in West Africa — creating technologies to detect and contain infectious diseases while training local partners to respond to future outbreaks. #PerpetualPlanet
As this year winds down, we @sabeti_lab have been reflecting on moments of joy and challenge, for us and for so many around us. Through it all, we have been grounded by family, community, and the sense of gathering around the campfire, to share warmth and light. We are grateful for everyone who has walked these trails with us, steadying us as the path grew rough and celebrating the clearings when they appeared. Your support and solidarity mean more than we can say. Here is to meeting the next stretch of trail with strength and purpose. #holidaycard

Can you survive a zombie outbreak? Join us and Operation Outbreak for a free, interactive event on October 23 from 6-8 pm for a fictional infectious disease outbreak. Enjoy face painting, music, and more while learning how infectious diseases spread. https://t.co/feRIg61K4U
🎉 Big congrats to Dr. Laura Luebbert (@NeuroLuebbert) , a postdoc in our lab, for receiving the 2025 FutureHouse Fellowship! We are so proud of her and excited for what's ahead! Congrats, Laura!!
Laura Luebbert @NeuroLuebbert will work with FutureHouse and the Sabeti Lab @PardisSabeti to develop AI-driven workflows to identify viral sequences in genomic and transcriptomic datasets by leveraging conserved protein motifs. Laura is known for creating gget, a widely-adopted open-source toolkit for transcriptomic analysis. During the fellowship she will analyze multi-tissue longitudinal sequence data from 4,000+ participants, establishing a comprehensive baseline of the human virome.
We're thrilled to announce the 2025 FutureHouse AI for Science Independent Postdoctoral Fellows—six extraordinary scientists using FutureHouse tools to solve challenging scientific problems. Fellows will have access to all released and non-released agents and tools we’ve built at FutureHouse, including our new platform, internal hypothesis generation agents, protein design agents, our Aviary reinforcement learning framework, and dedicated in-house engineering support and compute budget.
