This afternoon, we had a successful engagement with health workers at Kiruddu NRH to discuss new PrEP approaches, especially injectable Lenacapavir and its role out at the hospital. Health workers appreciate the new knowledge and are eagerly waiting to start its implementation.
Earlier today, Our @MJAPUg#MulagoISSCentreofExcellence, the largest HIV clinics in Uganda underwent a Sustainability assessment by the @MinofHealthUG and the USG team. We are appreciative of the continued engagement with our key partners in quality service delivery.
𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘁
𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲: A physical meeting is currently underway to roll out the Strategic Scorecards and support the development of the respective workplans. The meeting brings together Technical Program Specialists, Regional Program Coordinators, Operations Leads/Managers, and members of the Senior Management Team (SMT).
The purpose of this engagement is to ensure alignment of program delivery and performance with the organization’s strategic priorities.
Members of the Senior Management Team have been actively involved in this process. Management is now transitioning to the next phase rolling out the scorecards and seeking input from team members to further refine the various workplans.
Our team @MJAPUg , led by @SabitiLaban has successfully engaged a team from the Uganda Nurses and midwives Council on an assessment of the Education for Interprofessional Ppractice for HIV and co-morbidities training project in preparation for the Continuous Professional Development accreditation for short courses. It was a busy and productive past week for @shedrackw and I @MJAPUg, to offer tech support for interprofessional HIV care and qual improvement @ several clinics in Lesotho last week, under the @StripeHiv program @IGHSatUCSF. The absence of #USAID support is obviously visible.
