New to Collinsport, but not science. In love with @CyrusLongworth and also assist him in his laboratory. ๐ฅผPHD from NYU๐งช

"You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individuals. To that end, each of us must work for his own improvement and share a general responsibility for all humanity, our particular duty being to aid those to whom we think we can be most useful."
- Marie Curie
Spectrophobia (derived from Latin: spectrum, an appearance, form, image of a thing; an apparition, spectre) is a specific phobia involving a fear of mirrors, and an anxiety about seeing one's own face reflected in them. It is sometimes related to the fear of ghosts or the undead.
@WillLoomisRP He had removed his sunglasses and she notices a cut on his forehead, quite recent. It looks dangerously close to bleeding again. "Are you alright, Mr. Loomis? That cut looks like it could use some attention. Perhaps I should get you some alcohol after all."
2/2
@WillLoomisRP Why is he so eager to praise her? Cyrus has said little to her about Will Loomis. She got the impression that he didn't like the man for some reason. Sabrina turns back to face him. "Security in oneself is a rarity." She doesn't specify which one of them she is referring to.
1/2
@WillLoomisRP Recently, even Cyrus made her feel this way with his unexpected request for her to stay out of his lab. She remembers when he'd asked her to marry him, how happy she'd been thinking she could have it all: a loving partner and a science career. Perhaps that isn't possible now.
2/2
@WillLoomisRP "Oh...no. I just..." Her forehead wrinkles and she turns away from him, holding her own cup with both hands. "To be perfectly honest, Mr. Loomis, it's nice to be considered part of the scientific work, rather than just some glorified maid."
1/2
@WillLoomisRP "No," Sabrina says, more sharply than intended. Cyrus has the occasional drink at a party, but she did not support the afternoon drinking so common at Collinwood. "I'm afraid any alcohol in the house is not the drinking kind. It should worry you far more than any tannins."
@WillLoomisRP "Can I get you something to drink? I just made some coffee. Or do you prefer tea?" Sabrina has noticed that tea seems to be the unofficial drink of those at Collinwood.
2/2
@WillLoomisRP She ought to let him come in and wait if he really is a friend of Cyrus', though she's unsure what the two men can possibly have in common. "Very well. I don't know how long he'll be, though." She reluctantly lets him into the sitting room.
1/2
@WillLoomisRP What he's said reminds her of something Elizabeth mentioned. "Ah yes, you're the writer." Sabrina has not spent much time around artists. Perhaps they are all like this? There's creativity in science, but it's probably quite different.
2/2
@WillLoomisRP Sabrina looks at him questioningly, somewhat bewildered. Then she lets out a sudden breath that's almost a laugh. He's such a strange man; she isn't sure whether to take him seriously or not. Ridiculously large sunglasses hide his eyes, but his voice sounds genuinely hopeful.
1/2
@WillLoomisRP At least he's no longer grinning at her. "If you've come to see Dr. Longworth, I'm afraid he's not here. He's looking in on Maggie at Collinwood. I'm sorry you missed him. If you had called ahead, I could have saved you the trip."
2/2
@WillLoomisRP "Your wife...that's Caroline? Mrs. Stoddard's daughter. Yes, I know who you are now, Mr. Loomis." It seems to Sabrina that they have been conversing for sometime in the doorway without getting any closer to what the man wants. She is running low on patience.
1/2
@WillLoomisRP Then she remembers the party. Yes, she had seen him there, sticking close to the punch bowl. "You live in the older house near Collinwood?"
2/2
@WillLoomisRP "Sabrina, Sabrina Stuart," she says, still coldly. She's only barely familiar with anyone on the Collins estate, having only been to Collinwood a few times and Cyrus rarely speaking about anyone there except Quentin.
1/2
@WillLoomisRP Sabrina instantly dislikes the strange man so obviously ogling her. But apparently, he knows Cyrus somehow so she can't slam the door on him...at least not until she finds out what he wants. "Cyrus didn't mention you at all. Did you have an appointment with him?"
@WillLoomisRP At university Sabrina had learned to distrust smiling men. It usually meant that they were up to something nasty and hurtful. The stranger at the door is unnerving with his smile, but she does her best to not display it outwardly. "May I help you?" she asks in her coldest voice.
@CyrusLongworth@HoraceGladston4 She slides her hand along the sheet, reaching towards him. Sabrina smiles in the darkened room. It will be nice just to be in his arms for a while, not thinking about right and wrong, good and bad.
3/3
@CyrusLongworth@HoraceGladston4 There have been so many changes in expectations to try and live up to. Sabrina listens to him prepare for bed for a few minutes before turning over to face him. His familiar form is surprisingly comforting as he stands near the bed. So straight and tall...
