A $15 minimum wage is the bare minimum to give people the dignity and security they deserve.
We stand with members of Congress and workers across the country fighting for living wages. ✊ #1U#LCVUnion
I was @ezraklein's last ever interview on @voxdotcom.
We talked about alternate post-neoliberalisms, getting real about power, and @joebiden's superpower: He might be more than a return to normalcy. He might be an avatar for economic transformation.

I made a little visualization dashboard showing how differently income and public flagship university tuition have changed over the past 50 years. In short - university tuition has increased a lot, wages haven’t

Continuing to expand outside of PWIs, to two-year colleges, public universities, and HBCUs— because, as I learned once upon a time, who writes the rules matters!
@VivaRoosevelt A4. Helping build financialization work w/ @ASmith4OurTime and @amanwebelievein ; working with Mario, Ruby and a coalition in Michigan to start lobby day; helping build out Michigan’s chapter with Ruby and @alecrams2 ; helping recruit @SachaHeymann to Roosevelt :)
I’m so proud of all the work my Midwest babies are doing! For are fighting for transgender justice in Iowa, transit equity in Ohio, education equity in Michigan... and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. MW doing work 💪🏻💪🏻
Midwest Regional Conference 2019- I worked with an unbelievable regional team (Shoutout to Gracie and Claudia) and all the amazing folks on staff to organize a productive, memorable, and fun event for all our attendees. (Honorable mention for late night crab hash in Hyde Park!)
It means being inspired! I left every Roosevelt conference or meeting I ever attended feeling so excited to be part of a network of students and young people totally dedicated to fighting for public goods and social justice 😁
A1. When I got to college, I knew I wanted to get involved with something political, but didn’t know much else. When I found Roosevelt, I found a place that cared first and foremost about enacting change to improve our communities— and a place I could call home.
Excited to be here! I was part of the Network for 4 years at the University of Michigan, serving as co-president of my chapter in 2017 and as the Midwest Regional Coordinator for two years on our student National Leadership team.
We are kicking off our 15th Birthday Twitter chat celebration with introductions! Share a bit about yourself and your involvement with the Roosevelt Network here!
Yup. But let’s not forget that NYC requires students to receive parental/guardian consent before accessing on-site school psychologists, and the barrier than can present for many students. Eliminating that will be key to increase access to mental health care for NYC HS students.
