Videos have surfaced online of Assam Rifles troops rescuing Manipur Police commandos pinned down by insurgents with heavy gunfire in a highway ambush. The militants, hiding in a hill, had ambushed a convoy of Manipur Police commandos on the highway between Imphal and the India-Myanmar border town of Moreh on October 31. The commandos were en route to Moreh, 115 kilometres from Imphal, as reinforcements after a senior police officer was shot dead by an insurgent sniper while overseeing the construction of a helipad in the border town, which has seen intense clashes between the hill majority Chin-Kuki tribes and the valley-majority Meiteis in recent months.

It seems like a very calculated move.

On 4th May 2023, all #meitei houses and temples were burnt and destroyed in Moreh.

When state forces tried to go to #Moreh for maintaining law and order, Kuki women stopped them on the way.

In the meantime Kukis looted abandoned and destroyed meitei homes, changed the names of meitei villages to completely wipe off all records

After police officer C Anand was killed by #Kuki_ZoNarcoterrorist the state finally used force to rush in reinforcements despite being ambushed twice on the way.

While combing operation finally took place, #Kuki_ZoNarcoterrorist commanders of PDF were caught along with dozens of illegal Burmese immigrants.

While inspecting designated SoO camps, no registered cadres were found !

This only shows that #Kuki_ZoNarcoterrorist have been involved in #KukiAtrocities using SoO as an excuse !

#UnitedNations #Manipur The indigenous Meeteis/Meiteis in Manipur have been under attack for months and thousands of them have been displaced from the Kuki-dominated areas in #Churachandpur, #Moreh and other villages adjoining the hill districts where Meeteis form the minority, the World Meetei Council told the United Nations Organisation.

Stating that the principles enshrined in UNDRIP are a guiding force during these challenging times, the Council implored the United Nations to uphold the spirit of UNDRIP and intervene to address the dire circumstances our community has been facing.

It is crucial to produce in the public domain and remember that how did the violence started on May 3 in Manipur? Where did the violence started? Who started it? What for? Most importantly, we shouldn’t stop asking questions.

🗣️Is there any clearer evidence than the visual that Kuki #SoO militants had involved on #3rd May, where the #first violence broke out in Manipur?

🗣️Why has the Central govt. not taken up any action against them? Why didn’t the authorities check and review the SoO designated camps and ground rules to find out whether the cadres violated or not?

🗣️Was Kuki Narco terrorists #immune to #IndianJudiciary, so called the guardian of the Indian constitution?

🗣️Was it preplanned by govt. of India to divide Manipur for geo-strategic reasons at the cost of our lives?

🗣️Why didn’t the govt. of India try to remove the #BufferZone so far? Is there any hidden agenda behind the Buffer zone?

🗣️Why did the Indian state fail to restore peace in Manipur even the numerous Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) and Paramilitary forces were already stationed in Manipur since the beginning of the conflict?

🗣️Was the govt. of India supported the ethnic cleansing of Meiteis by Kukis in Kuki dominated areas? If not so, Why haven’t taken any steps to reinstate and restore their homes at the earliest?

🗣️The Ministry of Defence had sanctioned to used IAF to destroy poppy plant in Manipur however, why didn’t the govt. of Manipur take any initiative to use IAF so far?

#MeiteiHistory A research committee of Hungpung Hungshi Shangva, Ukhrul found that Tangkhuls and Meiteis are BLOOD BROTHERS

A brief history of the relationship between the Khongrei king, Hungpung king and Meitei king and the Mangang -Hungshi bloodline, as tabled by the committee stated that “after generations of migration from Central Asia, the ancestors of these three (Khongrei, Hungpung and Meitei) kings came to Makhel from Thibungmei (Kohima).

In Makhel a triune baby boy was born to the daughter of the king. The eldest son was named Riso (Khongreihung), the second son was named Hiipam (Hunypunghung) and the third son was named Mahzā (Meiteihung).
