There is still no challan against MLA Padalkar’s vehicle. But Santosh Pandit gets arrested overnight as if he committed a heinous crime.
This is the Maharashtra Police under @Dev_Fadnavis: lightning-fast against critics, painfully slow against those in power and dreaded criminals
Time to change the motto from “सद्रक्षणाय खलनिग्रहणाय” to “खलरक्षणाय सद्निग्रहणाय.”
Won’t be surprised if Vidyanand Bapat is arrested in a few days.

🚨 ₹14 Crore Road Work Under Fire in Vasai
Vasai: Despite around ₹14 crore being spent on road construction in Vasai’s Vasant Nagari area, large potholes continue to plague the road, raising serious questions over work quality and the use of public funds.
Yuva Sena has demanded an independent technical and financial audit, along with inspection of the materials and work quality. It has also sought strict action against responsible officials and contractors if irregularities are found.
Citizens deserve accountability for every rupee spent on public infrastructure. #VasaiVirar #Vasai #Roads #Infrastructure #Maharashtra
🚨 Palghar: A case has been registered against 22 women in Mokhada for allegedly attempting to hurt religious sentiments and pressuring a local family over religious conversion.
According to police, a group of women allegedly visited the home of an 18-year-old student, offered religious books including the New Testament, and claimed they could cure illnesses. The complaint alleges that after the student refused, the women made objectionable remarks about Hindu deities and urged the family to adopt Christianity.
Police are also investigating the alleged Hyderabad connection. No arrests have been made so far.

From Vision to Decline: Disillusionment with Educated Leadership and the Rise of a “Goonda Raj” in Vasai-Virar
The development of any city depends on the vision and functioning of its leadership. When a rapidly growing city like Vasai-Virar came under the leadership of a young, highly educated MLA who had studied abroad, people had hoped for a modern and well-governed city. However, looking back after 15 long years, that dream has not only been shattered, but the city has also, allegedly, been pushed into the grip of illegal constructions and land mafias during the same period of leadership. This is a deeply disappointing reality.
The 2009 Assembly elections marked the beginning of a major political change in Vasai-Virar. After ruling the constituency without interruption for nearly 28 years, then MLA Hitendra Thakur announced his political retirement and introduced his son, Kshitij Thakur, into electoral politics. As supporters watched with tears in their eyes and uncertainty in their minds, Kshitij Thakur won people over with his very first speech. He promised better roads, hospitals, employment opportunities and progress on the third phase of the Surya Water Supply Project, estimated at ₹11,500 crore.
After being elected MLA for the second time in 2014, Kshitij Thakur's confidence grew further. He commissioned a report from a reputed international company for an ambitious project on approximately 1,500 acres of Gogte Salt land in Nalasopara, envisioning a “dream city” on the lines of Bandra-Kurla Complex. The proposal included residential housing, a commercial park, an entertainment park and green spaces. His efforts to increase the city's water supply from the Surya Dam by 25 times were also seen locally as evidence of a leader with long-term vision. He proposed innovative concepts such as a botanical garden, musical garden, bird sanctuary, snake park and deer park.
But as the years passed, the dream city allegedly began turning into an illegal city. During the tenure of a leadership that spoke about implementing development models from abroad in Vasai-Virar, the city witnessed a massive rise in unauthorized constructions. Administrative control weakened and allegations of corruption grew alongside development projects. It was alleged that municipal officials were transferred at the behest of land mafias such as Mustafa, Jishan Qureshi and Arshad Chaudhary. More than 10,000 unauthorized constructions reportedly came up in the city within just two years, prompting even the High Court to reprimand the municipal corporation.
At the same time, widespread extraction of water from natural sources allegedly began to supply unauthorized chawls and warehouses through tankers. As a result, ordinary taxpayers were left struggling for access to water.
One of the biggest alleged failures of an educated leader is the rise, during his tenure and under his political leadership, of individuals with alleged criminal backgrounds such as Arshad Chaudhary. A city that was promised a modern future saw a person like Arshad Chaudhary, who was allegedly involved in unauthorized construction activities, occupy the respectable position of a corporator from Ward 19 under the Bahujan Vikas Aghadi. It is alleged that Arshad established a network of illegal constructions in Michael Compound, Jabar Pada and Umar Compound and ignored municipal notices.
His alleged political backing reportedly emboldened him to such an extent that municipal officers and employees who went to remove encroachments were subjected to serious attacks allegedly instigated by him. On one hand, there was talk of Oxford-style development; on the other, allegations of daylight intimidation and political muscle power. This contradiction represents, according to the criticism, a major blot on Kshitij Thakur's political journey.

Hi @kritisanon
There is a reason why clothes for Holi are different from Diwali. There is a reason why people dress differently for a wedding than halloween. Culture, traditions and events have relevant clothing, sweets, food and they are defined by what is appropriate according to them and what's not.
Stop justifying absolutely ridiculous dressing meant only to grab eyeballs(and you're getting paid for it) with idea of people telling women what to wear.
You wear all this in all your movies because you hardly know how to act and no one gives a damn because they know this is the only way you survive in the business.
But please spare our festivals
It is crazy that while the brother who seems younger to you in the ad knows well what right dressing for occasion for rakshabandhan is, but you don't.
The ad maker capitalized on sexualizing you by making you wear this and you did it happily for the fee but now giving sermons to those who are only expressing their opinion about your dress.
Bring better AI lines next time. Calling cleavage neckline won't make you look any better.

Bank of Baroda (BoB) refuses to tell which industrialists' loans worth ₹35,715 crore it wrote off.
Why? Because of the borrowers' "privacy".😂
Do you know what happens when you (the taxpayer) defaults on an EMI?
At times, the recovery agents call your company's HR, CEO and your boss to tell them that you are defaulting.
They come to your doorstep and humiliate you in front of your kids, neighbours and family.
Even though it is in violation of RBI's Fair Practices Code.
They leave no stone unturned to shame you and make your mental and physical health go for a toss.
In some cases, they even share your details in a newspaper (while selling your properties).
For wilful defaulters, they are allowed to publish the names and photos of such defaulters.
But apparently, when it comes to industrialists (simplified in this case – for those who have outstanding loans of ₹100 crore), BoB cites "privacy" and refuses to disclose such defaulters.
Privacy for defaulting on public money?
Privacy for the rich but not for the common man?
Privacy for those defaulting on our tax money?
BoB is a government company and thus, the money they're losing here is from our taxpayers' money.
Why do we have different rules for the taxpayers and the industrialists?
A protest is happening right in the capital where thousands are on the streets demanding merit.
And not a single political party or politician is standing with them.
Imagine a country's future without merit.
If this doesn't alarm you, nothing will !
