This kidnapping threat must be taken seriously. I received the same photos and the same threats before agents sent by the regime were arrested outside my home.
@Vahid is one of the most important Iranian voices on Telegram and X. He publishes videos sent by ordinary people inside Iran, videos that expose the Islamic Republic’s brutal reality: massacres, torture, prisons, and nationwide protests. Many international media outlets have relied on his reporting.
Now he is receiving serious threats.
He has been warned that he could be kidnapped just like Ruhollah Zam. When the Islamic Republic uses that name, everyone knows what it means: abduction, torture, and execution.
I know these threats are not empty.
Before armed agents sent by the regime were arrested outside my home in New York by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, I received hundreds of messages saying the same thing: “We will put you in a sack like Ruhollah Zam, take you back to Iran, and kill you.”
Those threats were real. The regime had already sent killers to American soil.
That is why I will always be grateful to the FBI agents who saved my life.
Today I hope U.S. authorities take the threats against Vahid just as seriously. In recent days, several Iranian journalists and political activists have received similar warnings.
The Islamic Republic has a long history of hunting its critics around the world. Ignoring these threats would be a dangerous mistake.
@FBI

The most reliable Iranian netizen and news enthusiast, Vahid, has been threatened with death on U.S. soil.
He has been threatened with being abducted and executed, like the late journalist, Rouhollah Zam.
Three weeks ago, Iranian national football team player Rashid Mazaheri posted an Instagram story criticizing the regime in Iran and its leader.
Shortly after, he vanished.
Unfortunately, Rashid Mazaheri was taken by the regime in Iran. No one has seen him since.
His wife is now publicly asking the authorities a simple question: Is Rashid even still alive?
The sports world loves political activism.
But when an athlete risks everything to speak against Tehran regime, it suddenly goes silent.
🚨 IRANIAN STATE TV THREATENS OPPOSITION
Disturbing rhetoric is emerging from Iranian state media.
During a broadcast, presenters reportedly issued direct threats against anti-regime Iranians, warning that opponents of the government could face severe consequences both inside and outside the country.
In one chilling line aired on state television, the message included the warning:
“Confiscating property is nothing… we will make your mothers mourn you.”
Human rights groups have long warned that Iranian authorities and affiliated groups have targeted dissidents abroad through intimidation, surveillance, and alleged assassination plots.
As tensions escalate, the threats are likely to deepen fears among Iranian activists, journalists and opposition figures living overseas.
Hello Australia, this is your moment. We need your support.
Iran’s women’s football team refused to sing the regime’s anthem right after the killing of Ali Khamenei.
State TV called them “war-time traitors.”
Now they’re on a bus back to Iran, flashing the SOS hand signal through the window.
I call on Australian government to them. Don’t send them back to danger. Please give them protection.
Five players from Iran’s women’s national football team have reportedly escaped their team hotel in Australia and are now under protection of Australian police while seeking asylum, after being labeled “traitors” by Iranian state media for refusing to sing the regime’s anthem. These women didn’t defect from a country.
They defected from a regime that calls them traitors for refusing to praise their oppressors.
Imagine the UK government saying this about @GNev2 when he refused to sing the national anthem before England 🏴 games.
Iran women’s national football team are in grave danger. Please share.

🚨 URGENT: Iran’s national team goalkeeper Rashid Mazaheri has been ARRESTED & is now MISSING — for one Instagram story calling out Khamenei and the slaughter of protesters.
A bloodthirsty regime so terrified of words it kidnaps its own heroes.
This is raw tyranny.
SPEAK UP NOW or stay silent forever.

“I want to introduce my real heroes: the people of Iran—especially those who were killed, and those who carry bullets in their bodies. Two of them are sitting among you. One of them was shot in her eye, deliberately blinded by the regime in Iran. She lost her eyesight, but not her hope. The other one, mother of an amazing daughter, left her daughter at home and joined the uprising. She carries a bullet. She lost one of her arms, barely able to move it. But they are not victims. Look at their eyes. Look at their faces. They are warriors. They are freedom fighters.”
— The brilliant @AlinejadMasih, accepting the 2026 Courage Award on behalf of The Heroes of Iran, from the @GenevaSummit for Human Rights and Democracy
At the United Nations, I confronted a disturbing reality: the Islamic Republic has been granted an advisory role at the UN Human Rights Council.
Yes, the same regime that massacres protesters and shoots them in the eyes is now positioned to lecture the world on human rights.
Europe’s hesitation to designate the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization has cost lives. Please listen to my message to Europeans. The time for excuse is over.

Rare Moment of Truth at UN: Iranian women's rights activist @AlinejadMasih takes the floor at United Nations @GenevaSummit to blast European politicians who for years failed to call out the regime's terrorism and gender apartheid, points to victims in the room shot by the regime.
Today 🚨
The IRGC is once again shooting and killing protesters.
If anyone claimed the violence had stopped, they were wrong. We knew it and It’s time for the world to get it too.
The people of Iran deserve better than empty promises of help “on the way” that never arrive.
