تحل اليوم الذكرى الخمسون لتأسيس جبهة البوليساريو 10 ماي 1973. حركة تحرر وطني قادت كفاح الشعب الصحراوي ضد الاستعمار الإسباني ثم الاحتلالين المغربي والموريتاني. وبعد تقاسم المغرب أراضي الصحراء الغربية مع موريتانيا، انسحبت الأخيرة 1979. طُرد المحتلون ولا يزال المغرب فقط يحتل 80%.
