I am genuinely stunned that hardly anyone has shown any intent to protest against the flawed reservation system or even raise their voice against it.

Unfortunately, there’s no funding for such causes.

I am all for reservation based on financial need, to help people uplift themselves. But reservation for people living in bungalows? 🤦🏼‍♂️

I feel for this student. He made a mistake, but he didn’t blame anyone else for it. Even if self inflicted, death is too harsh a penalty for his mistake. He deserves grace, more so because he’s no more.

On the other hand, it’s hard to justify the behaviour of the parents.

Whether instigated by political vultures or greedy lawyers, his parents turned their personal tragedy into a weapon, aimed straight at a professor who had only done his duty. Had this issue not been politicized, this video would not have been the last memory of their son.
I hope they understand that victimhood, real or perceived, is not a license to victimize others.

As for the professor, his personal or professsional past didn’t save him. A CCTV footage did. Had the CCTV malfunctioned on that fateful day, he might have been legally lynched.

This case raises several serious questions, which I dare not ask, lest it offend some group or the other. I hope that one day, our society will grow a collective spine and a mature brain , one that chooses unpleasant truths over pleasant lies.

Until then, I pray that this is the last tragedy in our campuses.

It pains me to see your Vinash Kale Viprit Buddhi. You have completely lost touch with the ground reality. Except Amit Shah, you have an army of incompetent central leadership which will cost you 2029 elections.

First you brought Ethanol Policy that affects every single voter. Nobody is happy. Regardless of whether the damage to their vehicle will happen because of E20 or not, people will blame Ethanol Policy only.

Then you did massive blunder with Jantar Mantar protest. Nobody was bothered about the protest but you randomly took away Sonam Wangchuk one morning which created the unnecessary hype.

If that wasn’t enough, you want to charge people on UPI payments. Every single person today uses UPI and they will be impacted by it. UPI is our pride. Please don’t destroy it. If people have to pay ₹300 on a transaction, they will happily move to cash again.

When you bring acts like UGC, you are simply telling your core UC voter base to f*** off because you have taken their votes for granted. Please don’t.

If this continues, even Rahul Gandhi can’t save you in 2029 elections.
