@TolerantOpinion @glman99@katjoy63@S1apSh0es Yea the 20 years isn’t just for purposes let crashing the plane, it’s also for obstruction of a federal investigation (he had the wreckage scrapped even though the NTSB told him to preserve it) and perjury.
I also don’t think that’s he’s gonna get the full 20 years, its the max
@TolerantOpinion @glman99@katjoy63@S1apSh0es That is literally what people are saying. If he got permission, had his plan reviewed and approved by the experts and officials responsible, and got the go-ahead, we wouldn’t be having this discussion right now.
But no he lied about having an emergency and covered up evidence.
@AustinZizzi @fractapix@cotupacs@elonmusk Because why in the world would they take the time, effort (and most importantly, money) to load it into an airliner and spray an easily detectable stream of traceable chemicals when they can just illegally dump it into a local river or lake like they always have.
Occam’s razor.
@levixyeager@marcelkiefer_@MscHardcore This preserves the ‘green flag’ strategy as much as possible and reduces the guesswork and ‘mindreading’ the teams have to do to determine if the officials will throw just an FCY or a full Red Flag and it’s impact on the race.
@levixyeager@marcelkiefer_@MscHardcore So that means if you get an opportunity to pit during an FCY and you don’t and it becomes a Red Flag, then you shouldn’t be able to change tires because that’s the strategic choice you made prior. And vice versa if you did chance tires.
@RafeSlate@JarlTeien@iRacing Other than the reflections in the puddles it doesn’t seem to look too different from what ACC looks like in the wet though.
@F111Driver @ilove_aviation Crosswind component* of 35 knots. Depending on wind direction it’s possible it have 60 mph winds with a sub 35 knot cross component. Or it was just gusting to 60 😂
