Two civilians were killed & five others injured when the military junta shelled Taung ThuHtay Gone village in the Phaya Seik village tract, Bilin Township, Mon State, according to local sources. On May 24, at noon, soldiers from LIB 3, based in Bilin, fired artillery.

On 8 May, Sa Ne village in Kyaukpyu Township, Rakhine State, was reportedly hit by an airstrike conducted by the Myanmar Air Force.

According to a local resident, the airstrike bomb destroyed shops and caused casualties.

One woman was killed, and more than ten others were injured.

Myanmar Witness geolocated the footage of the damaged buildings using Google Earth.

The military is pressuring and threatening residents to remove homes that have already received compensation but remain on the airport project land in Mudon within two months.

Due to the junta troops being stationed near Mi Kyaung Hlaung village, many surrounding villages have halted their plantation activities. Junta troops in Mi Kyaung Hlaung village, #Yebyu Township, #Dawei District, have forced several nearby villages to cease farming.
