It's funny that Hunter Biden is more worried about truthful reports of his father's dementia and health and not spending every moment getting his father to atone for the genocide he did before he burns in hell for eternity.
@Hootnholler108@nealjclark1 The 50sec film thats just a train going towards the screen? Cars were popular by 1920. Trains were around since 1820s. You're wrong.
@nealjclark1 Just admit you saw some schlocky B movie on Shudder and decided "wow how come no one has done this" and decided it was some mass cultural thing and not you being an idiot.
@nealjclark1 You're point about a good movie about modern tech is Dashcam and its not about smartphones its about streaming for clicks and its from 2021 lol
@nealjclark1 Its pretty embarrassing you're going back to make a sincere point when I've proven you wrong multiple times and you already thought you dunked on me so hard with the train tweet that you said "take the L retard"
@nealjclark1 You know what genre does deal with modern issues in coded ways before the regular public does? Horror. Huh I wonder if any horror movies recently deal with new tech like AI or phones?
@nealjclark1 You really just know nothing about history or movies lol genre's have always been backwards looking. The 1970's was an important year specifically because New Hollywood discussed modern issues and tech in a way not seen. Still tons of movies ignored it.
Like Westerns are such a funny genre to point out as being good with dealing about modernity. An entire genre of film dedicated to ignoring any technological changes that had happened for 100 years being the first genre of movies... hmm!
@nealjclark1 Maybe you should watch more movies because I find your complaint only extends to several high profile films and directors who are too old and ignores a huge swath of younger directors and older ones interested in reality.
This isn't true. I've seen a ton of movies that incorporate them. But also trains have been around since the early 1800's. Films started a good 100 years after railroads. Phones became ubiquitous. Social media and modern cellphones have been around 20 years.
You know that culture is dead because no one successfully reckons with phones in film and literature. It’s like having westerns without the railroad. Phones and phone culture should be what 90% of movies and books are about.
@HunterBiden Your dad did a genocide and he's got stage 4 cancer. Maybe focus on that instead of whining about how people were too mean to your piece of shit dementia riddled soul sucking father.
