- 74% of Utah and 96% of Nevada alfalfa acreage are outside the Colorado Basin
- The 65% of alfalfa exports only constitute 2.2% of US crop yield, most is used here domestic
- Yuma(lettuce), Southern California(mixed crop) use more water supply
