Watching Disneyland Handcrafted, you’d never know that the archival footage had ZERO SOUND… which makes this all the more remarkable of an achievement!
In a way, it harkens back to Steamboat Willie, adding sound to what was silent cartoons. #DisneylandHandcrafted
NEW - “Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party” will bring familiar and iconic moments from the Haunted Mansion to the streets of California Adventure this Halloween season.
@P3t3rD4Gi4nt Not to get controversial, but will there come a day where the Expedition Everest ride system replaces the tubular steel rollercoaster we see today at the Matterhorn? 🤔
@WebbCastCitizen@OrangeGrove55 I think they were always there? I remember seeing them on my last trip but it also has been a while since I was last on Space Mountain before that. Not to mention they play a version of classic Space Mountain footage
Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro is betting big on Fortnite to play a central role in Disney’s future. Here’s what we learned today.
• Disney characters are already among the most popular in Fortnite
• Fortnite’s The Simpsons season was played by 80 million unique players for over 780 million hours
• Fortnite is introducing Disney to a new, younger audience
• Disney’s upcoming Fortnite universe will feed into Disney+ as the company’s digital centerpiece
• Fortnite will be used to cross-promote Disney’s franchises, extend storytelling, and develop new intellectual property
As a massive BB universe fan, both r my fav shows of all time, but I prefer BCS by just a little more. Imo having far fewer deaths & action scenes works in the show’s favor. Deaths become more significant in BCS whereas in BB characters die basically every episode lol
NEW: Disney Games and Digital Entertainment will now fall under the Disney Entertainment division.
The division was previously overseen by Disney Experiences.
Just saw Hoppers & really enjoyed it! Def one of @Pixar’s most entertaining movies (that isn’t a sequel) in a long time. Dare I say, my favorite “original” Pixar film since Coco. And as a Pixar-nerd, I loved the “For the Birds” reference in the council scene haha
I agree with Scott. Imo the reservations will never go away. Mainly cause it’s only one additional step for the “normies” (aka people who only visit once every few years). I would like to see the MK system updated though cause I totally understand why MKs despise it.
With the elimination of the Park Hopper rule, it begs the question what will become of park reservations? Well ... those are sticking around. More will be shared later about what it means specifically with the Park Hopper rule changes, but park reservations are here to stay.
And get a Muppets attraction at a Disney Park that everyone can experience (such as The Great Muppet Movie ride or a Kermit attraction in Bayou Country at Disneyland)?
